thats something for down the track. I am 100% not a fan of the newest change set - i actually think the last set was the ones required to make netting competitive for basically all strats and now everyone but CI has just been nerfed. All the netting scores and records are now completely pointless and irrelevant.

Surprisingly, in the last several hours, all harmful spy ops have ceased. That’s suspect at the very least.

I think the casher is nerfed with the changeset too they also have the low land tmbr or hybrid destock available to it. This changeset will put downward pressure on the cashers too.

The types of finishes we are seeing with the FFO's is several years of tweaking and improving... commies just this last 3 sets have gone from 600m pre changes to 1.1 to 1.25 to 1.5b.

I would much rather the changes to game formula not happen so often - we are still learning about the last changeset. Or at least implemented on test servers or others that aren't the main one for trial first.

That was a seriously impressive effort from Tertius this set with that commie indy.

I think that last changeset was the ideal tweak to even out the playing field.

This next one though will totally undo the balance that was just created between the strategies.

I think this set we saw 2 Techers over 1b a Rep Casher over 1b a 1.5b CI and then I got lucky with a goods sale during my 40 hour logout to just pip him and Cordy at the post.

I think you totally fluff the recent equilibrium the game finally managed to achieve with the last changeset.

As it stands this set almost any of the strategies could have won - casher is the only one that has a hard time now.

There will be a 1.5b commie indy this set - this strategy is still in its early days and public market prices werent awesome for commies either. There would have been a techer over 1.2b also except a late set fluff up and he actually played out a set helping others out and didn't have tech allies contributing to his finish. The best ffo this set without help will be somewhere in between those.

The only two viable strats to play to win now will be commie indy and techers.

but it was self sufficient - made 11.5m cash per turn... also had indies for a good portion of it too. Just dropped those and the ent and res when i finished rebuilding.
