Coming from a current LAFer and former SOLer I have to say Dragon is a man possessed, love to have him on your side and hate to see his country come up in your war chat!

Detmer if you put something together in the coming weeks I would definitely be game for it, last time I met with with some Earth players I was afforded the opportunity to watch Dalyx get herself hammered. Hopefully I will check AT enough to know when the meet is happening though, lol

My high and low point would have to be the same reset. The first TIL war was full of ups and downs, restarting something like 6 times and getting the kills on a few of the opposition. Probably the set that I got the least amount of sleep, lol, also developed this unexplained distaste for SOF from these days that has lasted through the years.

Other than that I called Butler beating Pitt, not the stupid ass way they did though, Pitt should have never been a number 1.

Stupid Kansas should have lost their game tonight, I had them losing in one of my brackets to Illinois.

I am still sticking with Kansas to lose though, COME ON RICHMOND!

Dagga, all very good and valid points BUT three issues to bring up with what you said,

1) "LaF farmed a defenseless country while RD first struck them." It was a defenseless CLAN!!!!!! Not just a country :P

2) "It's our first attempt at stockpiling and netting for X years?" While SOL may not be known for its amazing netting prowess, you do have quite a few veteran members that could very likely compete in any netting clan in the game. Point is, TRAIN the youngsters in the glorious ways of netting as well as war.

3) Finally, just to be a bid inflammatory, everything you listed just sounds like an excuse :P

dagga, come on now man, saying that one person is the "LAF Poster Child" is not fair, I could see you throwing out Hanlong or enshula since they are two of our current leaders.

We all do things that someone else does not like from time to time, and for some of us that is more often. Instead of calling him the Poster Child I think it would be more appropriate to call him the "Overzealous LAFer" or "LAFs Entertainment Poster Child"

I read most of the posts so forgive me if this is already been stated in one way or another on another post.

I am currently a union man, Teamsters Local 120, and was in the Teamsters Local 160 for quite a while as well. I understand the benefit of the unions and realize the detrimental behavior of some of the unions (UAW) I personally have despised the Teachers Union for years for two primary reasons, they protect inept teachers and protect pedophiles.

The issue of dealing with inept teachers is very complicated and do not want to get into that as much as I would like say that breaking the teachers union is a small price to pay in order to eventually get rid of these dirt bags and keep them away from kids.

I think the best thing I received from this game over all the years was being able to watch Dalyx get hammered on apple wine at Renaissance Festival in Minnesota a year and a half ago and become a drunken giggly knucklehead, lol
