Well I can confidently get retals or reps out anyone I want, even that homeless guy on the corner. Matter a fact.. me and my neighbor will be FS'ing the lady downstairs soon.

I have a wonderful colorful language and sentences that noone else ever understands.....since I run around saying things like blah blah Azzmar! and fluff this and fluff that...and ramblings about sheep. Screaming El Yay (that gets strange looks from my tables at work). And my 2 favorites ..... Boobs!or GTFO! ..... You all are special in the eyes of the fluff! (yes, sorry martian).
But really what I got out of this game, is some great and so far long time friends from all over the world. :)

that article has a pretty harsh undertone and it is clearly written by a member of this community. or one that has recently gained access.
way to go, we are trying to promote this game. not demonize it.
I agree with you, Ford. The entire article rubbed me the wrong way. I don't care for the negative light it shines on our community, but what irks me more is the entirety of the article as a published piece. It almost HAD to be an Earther that wrote it. I can't believe that a true journalist could have possibly written it. I say that not for the "information" it contains, but because of how poorly it was written. It's all quite disjointed..not a good flow to it at all. Shame on the author for their nubbish attempt at writing an article, and shame on the editor for not doing their job catching it and appropriately depositing it into their circular file.

I agree with Kemo. The media is just thirsty to beef up their stories. They disgust me with their need to "get the scoop" ahead of their competition without regard to how this is affecting everyone involved.
Speaker, I can only imagine what thoughts and emotions are going through you right now with all this. I'm sorry that you're being subjected to this tragedy and the ensuing circus. I hope and pray for the families and friends of everyone involved that the chaos will be short-lived so that they're allowed to properly grieve and come to terms with what's happened.

I agree with Zarc on that one. Even a nub will come to understand to not make those mistakes after he/she has done them a time or two.
Basic tips are very helpful for the new ppl...but too much hand-holding will just make things boring before long. If hand-holding is what they want; then a nub should be joining a clan for that. I actually have a friend that I've finally convinced to play Earth. She's going out on her own in Tourney I believe. I'll have to ask her what she thinks.
Oh..also..If this isn't already included in one of the messages; There should be one about building CSs in multiples of 4 and to always build a full turn's worth of buildings according to what their BPT is. A LOT of new ppl don't know little things like that.
