My favorite memory of grelk was in 2004 when you volunteered for the Howard Dean campaign and making fun of you after the scream.

A lot of people disturbingly saying he deserved what he got because of that quote but its a completely rational conversation to have. Like most rights, there are positive and negative consequences. The negatives to say the right to drive a vehicle are that we have car crashes and people die. Most agree that the positives of the freedom to drive outweigh the negatives of crash deaths. Doesn't mean they are saying they don't care about crash victims. What if crash deaths were 10x what they are now? We'd want to discuss whether the right to drive a vehicle needs to be curtailed. What numbers of deaths is the tipping point? It's a rational conversation. Similarly, at what point do the negative consequences outweigh the positives to the second amendment? If 1 person were killed each year by gun violence, is that enough to overturn the 2nd amendment? Current levels of gun violence? 10x our current level? Clearly Charlie Kirk believed that the positives outweigh the negatives and I'm sure he would still think that. He would also believe that the negatives are tragic and terrible. Its the right way to frame the debate IMO. Personally, I don't think the positives outweigh the negatives and gun ownership should be severely curtailed. Doesn't mean he deserved to die for his opinion.

I am not convinced that Trump runs. The convention is not until late August. If things haven't changed by then, I expect he decides not to run.

Read my post again before you freak out and claim I say something I didn't.

I mean even the president of PP admits the videos were real and unacceptable. They probably weren't profiting off of it (hence why they were cleared of criminal wrong doing) but they were exchanging them for money and you got a sense of how cold and callous these people view the practice of abortion.

You can't just let your love of abortion blind you. There are multiple videos that show this clearly happening. Pull your head out of your ass.

I would certainly hope this is not something the Republicans would 'get done'. The US government has no authority to build a new industry or replace an old industry. The US free market, however, will get it done quickly when market conditions are right.

From what I heard, Harper did an outstanding job as PM and Canadians are whiny children.

What dumb ass made Elvesrus a moderator? Good lord this game really has gone down hill.

So who was this

1) Right decision. I think it's clear what the intent of the law was and it would have been a big reach to overturn it.

2) Head-scratching decision. The Confederate flag has been what it is for a long time. I have no real connection to it but now were removing it from everything possible because of that lunatic in SC? I'm just confused by it.

3) Wrong, emotional, sort of scary decision. But it is what it is, the Court unilaterally redefined marriage and undid the Democratic process, it's over. Nothing I can do about it other than move on or leave the country and I'm too lazy for the latter. The gays did an unbelievable job of organizing and using their media allies to move opinion on the issue. Unless Conservatives get organized, take a page out of the gay playbook and use the power of the boycott we'll continue to get fluff on time and time again.

Generally we use 'neocon' to describe people with hawkish, interventionist foreign policy views, not those who make idiotic decisions about health care.

I'm pretty agnostic on global warming. Science doesn't mix with money and politics, and global warming science is heavily involved in both.

I finally managed to quit around a year ago. After realizing I didn't have time to attend war chats anymore it was easy.

Here is my question:

How does the West respond if Putin drops a nuke on the Estonian capital in retaliation for the West getting involved in any potential conquest of Estonia? In my opinion, he gets away with it. The West won't respond with nuclear retaliation for fear of a global nuclear war.

I didn't read the thread other than the OP but 3 things:

1) Banning Sterling was the only possible business decision
2) It is scary and unfortunate that a private conversation can destroy you.
3) What he said is true racism. Most of what the media portrays as racism is garbage, but refusal to associate with individuals because of their race is some of the worst kinds of racism.

Is there a less likable person than Cerberus?

I wish the bill had been signed in order to protect people from what happened with the photographer in New Mexico. She opted not to serve as photographer at a gay wedding due to her religious beliefs and got sued and had to pay, as opposed to the gay couple simply choosing a different photographer. That is horrible, in my opinion. Perhaps this bill went too far in that it created the possibility of denying service at places of public accommodation, but I believe the intent was to prevent what happened to the New Mexico photographer.

I live in West Virginia as well.

I didn't quite fit into one of the nutrition categories, I plan and eat healthy meals but a few times per week I get busy with work and have to go buy something fast that is unhealthy for lunch.

Okay? Tom Brady is Drew Bledsoe with a competent general manager. Peyton Manning is Kerry Collins with a competent general manager. What fun.

Brett Favre is the greatest quarterback of all time.

They are pilot wales not dolphins. Its not any worse than how we treat chickens/cows/hogs so why go after them just cause its a different animal?

I don't much care for Trife, personally.

gg

IMO the Broncos win handily. It has been amazing what the Patriots have done this year with really a one man team in Brady, but it ends here. I love how every time someone calls out vic for being dumb he immediately says "whoah, chill out bro I'm trolling!" It's obnoxious.

My boss

Yes and I just lost a whole 30% of it how devastating!

Watch out SOF, I just died in the FS and am going to break in the CS!

However you want to look at it its the same fluff

"so responsible medical users"

Please don't act like you're better than a normal stoner because you have a "prescription".

How is he a liberal for pointing out the fact that literally every post Watertowers makes is to attack blacks? Its old and tired.

So I'm confused, do I pick a country that starts with B or do I answer what my dark desire is?

I used to like talking about politics but I recently realized I do not at all care what other people think.

What the hell is this?

He was the perfect portrayal of most liberals and atheists I know.

Trust me I understand I've lived in Ohio surrounded by Ohio State fans my whole life. There is nothing more obnoxious and annoying than an Ohio State fan.

The governor said we in Ohio can't use 'M' today. It is embarrassing to be from Ohio. I can only hope Michigan State knocks off Ohio State because Alabama is not looking good today.

When I go out of town I triple check everything and then half the time still end up turning around about a mile down the road because I'm afraid I left the oven on or door/fridge open :(

It makes me enter it every damn day

wtf?

That was a not so veiled reference to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Barry

But I guess it went over your head.

What's the difference between the US and Canada? In the US he'd be reelected.
