Im not against human vs human interaction and even topfeeding depending on circumstances(some big countries I've spied have massive stock and little to no D). I personally take offence to the players that go all jetter/topfeed hitting everyone with no intention of netting.

This recurring theme of a 3rd party jumping and the initial aggressor/defender being deleted is troubling. Reminds of my only purple on my account. Back in the day I was fighting someone in Tourney than Bibigon jumped in a nuked him and lo and behold we both get deleted even though all my actions had been justified. At that time and still now I have never spoken to Bibigon so I'm unsure how we worked together.

Mods need to quit being so quick to delete the initial party. Go after the 3rd party jumping in but don't assume guilt on the other.

I thought the big commie was going to beat me. I think he messed up though as I spied him multiple times late and he needed to stop hitting earlier or at the very least quit building on land.

I completely agree player vs player interaction is a good thing and the goal should not be to eliminate that aspect of play. Having said that I get frustrated at players that topfeed human players with no intention of netting.

Last set I was #94 and had a few countries hit me last day with essentially no turns left. At that point in the game (generally anything past ~1400 turns spent) unless the target has a combo of high stock / low D the attacking country is losing nw. Besides increasing their private market which none of them needed since they had no stock the grab was only to pick a fight. Maybe these players don't understand gameplay mechanics to realize the grab was a mistake.

Based on this I have no issues reference players trying to enforce their playstyle to pick targets but I would caution to leave a player who is actually trying to net alone and focus on destroying the players who are just picking fights / trying to screw multiple players.

Mistake retal by 72# imo. He either needed to double the abs or only do the land grabs. You gave him DR without crippling him.

Invictus your last message is confusing to say the least. What are you implying? I dont think any conspiracy is going on beyond asshole players can greatly impact the game. I dont think teamwork is that prevalent.

The rates are correct. The BPT you see is based off of your government not the spyops thus why it appears wrong. Try spying someone when you are a Dict or Theo

Getafix I avoided the top feeder hits by playing aggressor. I saw what was happening last night and hit 1st and then spent turns/destocked to outrun the retal.

Not much you can do to defend his setup although I wouldn't call him all jetter since he does have a substantial D. I do wonder why he is doing it as it isn't helping netting and it's not like any of the targets picked a fight with him. Looks like he is going to keep hitting for any big players who he hasn't attacked yet.

In a sense there is always product being bought and sold. Balance is a poor choice of words as they create ridiculous price swings where even non demos can easily turn a profit.

Since I returned to game in the summer this buyout has been occurring same time each week. The issue of tech selling over $4000 all set has gone away but this new issue of 10+ bil hitting the market same time each week is just as abusable(albeit not to the extend to break the 70+ mil records).

I understand the bots are in play to balance market, increase land, etc. but whats the point when the winner is only the best at abusing the bots. They need to be programmed to retal, or not destock, or insert other idea. I'm surprised I'll win this week and not a commie but the big 1 got nuked and apparently not everyone has realized what the bots do on a weekly basis.

Thanks guys alot of things lined up to make it happen. Tech prices were cheap and although average bushel price was low there was a brief window early where it spiked and I was able to jumpstart my countries tech. Demo allowed me to get aggresive on the market and although not all my trades were a net gain the 0 commisions meant losses were minimal on bad purchases.

Like most sets I used high D and thankfully it deterred a hit. Getting topfed is frustrating but part of the game. My issue is when it occurs and there are similar targets around with substantially less D. If you are gonna put in the effort to hit a top country spy multiple and pick the better target. Its crazy how little D some people use. Just last game #91 had over 16K land with only 300K turrets for half a day before he got suicided for not being in GDI. I was gonna hit him myself but didn't think I could outrun the retal if he went all in for it.

There are ways to minimize losing trades. High weapons and mil strat obviously. Also you can max sell your D and other tech to jump down in nw. Obviously this has risks of being hit during the time it takes to sell and also costs you money(less if demo). Unfortunately big countries are gonna lose when they start doubling the size of others best bet is high D and prevent the hit.

Bigger issue is when someone gets hit hard (such as non GDI AB runs this set) and than top feeds everyone but because of DR retals are pointless.

Show me the spy report where I had 2:1 jets /turrets. With the exception of first day I never had more jets than turrets. As I stated when I hit my ratio was approx double turrets. Meanwhile on your ROR's you had 4mil jets and only 1-1.5mil turrets.

My hit on you Ektar was a retal not a topfeed. You started sending me messages I was an all jetter top feeder meanwhile I had substantially more turrets than jets when I attacked and we were equal land. Than you went all jetter and triple tapped ROR.

Proving what point? Nukes were meant as a deterent to keep a GDI player from multi tapping and it worked. It was a topfeed but one that massively improved my country with a secondary effect of hurting you. You had basically 0 D for a 2k hit with identical strats. Im surprised I was the only 1 that spied you.

You couldve hit me but it was gonna be cost ineffective because I was heavy D max tech dictator. I also had mass nukes. You couldve fought me instead you chose to throw a hissy fit and become a loose cannon.

I expected you to leave me alone since ypu wouldve lost the trade along with factors stated above and was correct.

I'm 61 quit saying I played to harm you. I sent 350k jets for my hit. 350k!!! When you are an identical build providing plus 50% tech per turn once built its a no brainer. This wasnt personal just dont make it so ez next time.

Used an unorthodox method of attacking the biggest techer. Tech stayed expensive but I also took alot of damage because of it. Got a little lucky stealing the win but it could've backfired just as easily.

Been lazy this set.
I have 2 tech spots and 1 spy and 1 D open. Ill give a tech leech to anyone for a decent spy or D ally. Im top 25 so most players will win on both fronts.

Had an interesting set as I went without GDI. Also had a suicider missile spam me and than self delete. So many grabs I didn't retal but I did punish the guy that double tapped me. Note to #42 don't double tap a tyranny with 500 less turns spent.

They do need to adjust the bots so they dont buy a ridiculous quantity and also they have a max buy price. 3600 seems a bit low but it should be under 5k at least. Currently to win as another strat you need to get a huge amount of land which generally paints a target on your back.
