A lot of it depends on what your local NPR station chooses to air. The one that I get in one direction from my house isn't very good. However, the one that comes from the city (where they actually get donations to afford programming) is very good.

As for Prairie Home Companion...ugh. I have always turned that off. News and in depth reporting pieces are where NPRs value lies.

There is a mountain of data supporting this. Yes everyone makes their own choices, but the deck was stacked against most of the under 40 crowd like it never has been before as they graduated. Its REALLY hard to dig them out of the debt too given that wages are pitiful when compared to the cost of living.

Actually, assuming that you live long enough to get to the same amount of payments, you come out WAY ahead by taking the annuity payments. The tax savings are where it's at. BIG savings that way.


Just FYI, a braindead person can make 4%-5% per year on their money. 3-4mil is more than enough for just about anyone to comfortably live off of.

The farmers didn't have enough funds to defend themselves, plus there is a HUGE glut of food on the market and has been for quite some time. Demos keeping the prices that high.

The countries that were attacked had very little to do with potential. It had FAR more to do with pathetic defense or in Gerdler's case, being an entitled pompous douche. Chewi's country was the exception...that had to die or the breaks on us wouldn't have cost enough.

Hey, my restart had the best grabbing day of anyone all set today! Those LaF targets are softer than the bots, especially when they're still trying to grab 0 def bots to get fat before they build out. btw, THANK YOU #99 for putting me into DEEP DRs after I took all that land :)

I don't know anything about writing apps, but I'm sure someone around here does...or could at least point a dev in the direction of a good app writing resource. If the game is to be monetized in some way, then an app is the only way to go.

Last set was last set. There was true motivation for all actions and nobody was safe, especially in LaF. Those goals were accomplished and now new goals have emerged thanks to unending attitude from certain people. Unfortunately for you, those people are tagged LaF as well. So you know, I do have respect for you, Chewi and Enshula. You three were rather wise last set as the first few waves of attacks came in.

I want the game to grow and get back to a self sustaining market. Hell, I'll help recruit players once the app is sitting in the app store. However, a numbers growing contest with no conflict, no bad guys, and nobody to hate will not retain players. When I started playing, I found the game to be a fun math exercise, but when I actually got interested was when I started interacting with the other players in-game and sitting in war chats. The bot farming, stupid L:L policies, uNAPs with everyone and the general whiny attitude of the netting portion of the player base is not attractive. Those things are trying to suck the conflict out of the game...its a fkin WAR game. Yes the networths are higher now, but the player base is dumber because they don't have to adapt to any new circumstances. The alliances of yesterday and the player base that went with them had to actually interact with each other. You make friends that way and that keeps people coming back even if the game is stale. Basically the same draw as WoW, just in a different format. It needs to be more simple and pretty to play for the average 16yr old. So basically, if Ratski, Galleri, and KoH can use and thrive using the new UI, then it should be easy enough for a kid to use. Once that is in place we can get the game growing and back to a thriving, healthy, conflict filled community.

Its a shame that I can't post a list of spy ops done. Those returns are beautiful :D

Smaller bots mean that you would need to get land elsewhere. Even better, if all the bots were GSd 10x every day, that would certainly force you to farm elsewhere. Either that or revert to all explore strats, lol

However, the only interaction that I had with him was being killed by him unprovoked as he had a hissy-fit. I was peacefully netting on express and he got DELETED for collusion.

He's an easy example, but he is certainly not the only cheating LaF player on other servers. Primary is likely where their cheating is most obvious to anyone that cares to look.

If you don't think they are colluding on the other servers, then you're delusional. Honestly, I don't know how they don't get deleted. It's painfully obvious that they're colluding.

You hear that LaF? You're scummy. All of your targeting and collusion on express and primary, makes you scummy.

If I remember correctly, the last time I fought imag, we tagkilled them in under 8 hours. So yeah, not sweating ankle biters. Besides, you wont find us until it's too late. Last set was just a warm up >:)

I could care less what country you are. If they care enough to use them, anyone with basic math skills can net when there is no potential to be hit. That's over! As punishment for arranging such behavior, Gerdler must be punished. Any time he is found, he will be hit...hard. He is the pompous ass of a figurehead for everything that is wrong with the game and as such he must be punished until he adapts.
