Your justification for using the Public market is greed?

I call it more stupidity than greed. That's like letting someone steal your car so you can steal $10 from them.

One farmer can't fund all the techers/indies.

Either way, I understand that it's like impossible to set up, but it just seems so counterproductive.

If I can make up to 31% less money off bushels and make everyone else pay like 6x as much for food, that's a major advantage in favor of farmers...

Why do you farmers use the public market? You're helping your competition so much more than your helping yourself by using the public market. The other strats can't work nearly as well if they can't buy cheap food.

Am I missing something?
