The issue is not a person/player that happens to be a moderator being trashed regarding something non-mod related but propaganda and unnecessary bashing about moderator actions is not allowed here on the forum. Any concerns regarding moderation can be sent to me.

When I first got here moderators were handing out some sort of punishment for griefing and I was told it was not allowed by the entire community. Superfly was punished for this same behavior and i saw this myself.

No oil was purchased during the glitch. It was a consequence afterwards.

I can't speak for what the admins will do in those situations going forward. All I can say is no non-admin is able to do that under present conditions even if they chose to.

Just a quick FYI: the servers cannot be rolled back.

A few bots bought out two techs and a pile of turrets. Both live players and bots benefited from the sales. This will explain how lots of bushels and oil were purchased as a result. Other bots bought out bushels and some techs and players had to spend on oil. Cash generated from stage 1 of the glitch was close to $100B

I dont think creating countries is a problem unless it happened today given the Express server round started yesterday. You must mean accounts, which after testing does appear to be an issue at the moment. Anyone with an EE account should be fine unless they forgot their login.

And yes, I can often get word to the current admins directly with urgent issues... But it doesn't necessarily mean they have the time or ability for an immediate fix. I'll update as I'm able. Moving to B&S.

This is unplanned so we cannot really say for sure either way. It just needs to go through the debugging process. When they do come back up, theres a good chance the timing won't coincide with round start/end on a particular game server

Personally, I'd hit the player if you're looking for a top spot and you were sure the immediate gains were going to be even. Again, this is not a game server availability issue. Players chose to use established game servers primarily for netting instead of war. This has little to do with game development in my opinion. There are three clan servers that are setup to war with other players and one could easily war 1on1 in Express.

In many cases, I agree. But I strongly believe there are still exceptions to this idea. I've never been a great netter, but (when I played) let me pick a handful of my best guys in FFA, and there'd be an old-fashioned whoopin.
