I agree, blid - tourney has turned really vicious. I farm as well, because i wouldnt stand a chance otherwise. I do feel like its detrimental to the game as new players would be turned off completely, and even old ones getting farmed would feel the same.

Something needs to be done to change this.
First and foremost, GDI has to go.

One more point to make it even less black and white is the early growth allows for faster growth which leads to better grabs earlier which again leads to even faster growth and it goes on and on. So the snowball effect will make up for not being able to hit that fat target - especially in primary with so many players

I did a batch explore last set to around 3.5-4k as a rep casher last set.

This set i grabbed from slightly over 2k.

I can tell you for sure, exploring sets you back

I dont think the supply from 1 player can affect the market that much

I was kinda hoping BiBiGoN would grow real fat and increase the supply of tech soon, but looks like thats not going to happen

47 mil was one hell of an achievement, ill give you that - its almost impossible in Game A playing clean.

Even in an epic tech set, I believe the way the game is now, indys and cashers will still win. Maybe i should be more specific - oldman will still win with his casher or indy or rainbow

No, blid that wasn't me. I wasn't playing during the time 7th Heaven was playing. I started much later.

On this topic, i started playing in tourney too and it got me hooked.
However, its not the best starting place now because its really brutal.

I like the idea of a server somewhere in between Express and tourney speed for newbies to start. Fast enough to keep them engaged but not as demanding as express.

Congrats to everyone - it was a truly enjoyable set.

A special mention to a few:

1. Xin for winning by a big margin (proving my prediction of a close finish to be way off the mark)
2. Oldman for getting the dict record.
3. Herbs for finishing top commie
4. Crest for somehow getting past 100m in a truly terrible tech set
5. Afaik and Serp for denying me a top 3 by 0.5m (darn it, ahah)

I think the cashers have no choice this set but to keep getting fatter. Stocking doesnt seem a very good option with bushel prices this high.

Plus, oldman's superfat casher showed us the way last set :)

I think there are 2 techers with over 200m bushels right now.

Thats why ive given up on teching - its just so painful playing a techer in a 2 month set and the market crashing knowing you dont have a chance no matter how well you play

Bushel market will start to trend downwards in in 3-4 days max. MIlitary is rising. Im confident techers will start to destock soon with tech prices this low to capitalize on high bushel prices and cheaper military.
