When I first started playing this game 10 years ago it was me and another guy from work. The two of us tagged up in Alliance and started grabbing. We were killed very quickly needless to say. We were recruited by MKR and here I am. I think that if you choose to play 1 man in this server it is simply because you want to avoid the politics of big alliances, your a vet testing strats, your an idiot that wants to suicide, or your special and don't understand the concept. What ever the reason, it is a risk you take. If you get farmed there is not much you can do about it except what has already been talked about over and over and over, and probly will be another dozen posts created talking about the same thing.

So until the next episode, tag up, pact up, retal, and handle your business.

Mdevol messaged me last night and offered a CF and pact for the rest of the set. They accomplished what they set out and that was to go after Scott and as such all of Ares along with him. Ares consisted of 64 countries at the start of the FS. We knew it was coming and to say we were not prepared is an understatement. No amount of preparing would have changed the outcome. It would have taken them a little longer and made them use a few more resources but we would have been tag killed none the less. Of course we tried to rally other allies at the end of last set to be a part of this but none stepped up, and as far as NBK is concerned I don't blame them for it because in my opinion we let them down last set. Loyalty to our allies is something we take seriously.

We may not be known for much but one aspect that Ares will always stand by is if you choose to fight us, you better be ready for a long set. We will keep restarting and will keep fighting. To the very last minute we fight. Trash talk all you want about our ability or inability. We will not tuck tail or throw in the towel because the odds are not in our favor. We are used to that being the case and as such it is expected. We hold no personal grudge towards CC, however we will not CF.

I agree with Warster, but the problem is most times you never know who is a suicider and who is a legit one person tag that wants to play in peace. Jen is a good example of that. Ares has very little tolerance to unknown one player tags that come in unannounced and start grabbing. We retal heavy if we don't know you. Untags will likely be farmed and killed. But she reached out and asked for a DNH this set and we gave her one. State your intent and Ares will leave you alone. To many fluff tards out there to wait and see if they are intending to harm or not.

It was not purposefully meant to harm or offend. It was just like any other string of personal jabs. Like I said it was poor in taste. But unless I'm missing something, aside from that and some trash talk he was playing the game. As a clan you have the right to FS whoever you wish. If thats your reasoning I get it.

Poor taste? Yes. Worth deleting? Yes. At the end of the set instead of when they were created? No. I know you didn't push the purple button. I have seen much worse country names that have been allowed. But that's not the point. The point is he violated no Ares Policy that R.Lintz or I have been made aware of. CC called us out and as such we will stand up wipe the blood off off our nose and keep at it. It will not be pretty. It will not end quickly and it will be a brutal one sided fight. But we are Ares. Call us what you want as far as skill or lack of skill. We are resilient and relentless. It's going to be a long 40 days.

Although no leaders of NBK have approached me on this issue, one of the members did. It would appear he was upset that Ares and PAN had a pact with CC last set. What most people forget is we generally pact both NBK and CC. That changed during the whole ICD war and even then I think we had a pact with Mike during that one too. Point being the lack of active leaders at the end and beginning of the last two sets prevented us from getting pacts finalized. So we went forward with pacts not knowing our would be FDP's plans. We are doing the silent treatment phase at the moment I guess.

RB, yes you are right we knew it was coming and we should have FSed OOP but we didn't. JJ is moving again, Scott still with his kid in the hospital, Lintz has been inactive until yesterday, and I switched Divisions at work so.....well you get what I'm saying. I just didn't bother putting any effort into my countries knowing what was coming. We have not started that low number of countries since I came back.


So I'm not saying we win because of that. It's just weak sauce for someone the size of CC to hit 64 poorly constructed countries. Especially after last set when Donny cried about numbers advantage. But you are hitting for a reason so it's ok lol. See you on the battle field.

Well Donny, that plan never came together. It was talked about after Mike told me what was going to happen. But as you can tell by the lack of activity from some of our allies we knew from the beginning of the set we were on our own. I have chat logs saved saying we would go at it alone regardless of numbers. I just wasn't expecting the lack of activity on our end. But it is what it is. I'm not going to start crying about the obvious. We will continue to restart and ankle bite the fluff out of you all set long. Even if it's just me doing it.

Kind of hard to get people motivated when your about to be slaughtered.

Yawn..... Kind of pointless to fight when the numbers are so skewed. But we knew it was coming. Ill fight.....give me something to do.
