It's a game. You see a pro tennis player lose his sheet and ya just laugh. When I see the AT warriors lose their sheet, I just laugh as well. Never failing to return their serve.
Your ingame country gets hits and the netters cry. They then come to AT board and try to start the AT war. It has always been part of the game.
If there was no AT board, it would not change the game or the "community" yet that part of the game has been around for years.
General AT Board war hits should never be a reason to ban someone from the boards unless the post is negatively posted
against an individual. Feisty board discussions are one thing. Making personal threats associated with RL is something different.
Mods, and developers, should know the difference.
Again, it's just a game.

Thanks for letting me live in your head. (rent free) I joined a war strat game in 1998. The past few sets have seen the game change in many ways and, with the changes, have seen a drastic decline in players. I have been hoping, after watching recent sets, that there would be an attempt to return the game towards its original concepts.
Last set I hit live countries and accepted 1:1 retals. was a fun set. This set, SOL decided to net. Thought I would roll out after this set but wanted to see the excitement that comes with hitting bots. Yeah, I let bots build me up this set just incase someone went stupid on SOL....then I could have had more fun.
Never had to hide my country. Always used "Suicidal". Why do you hide yours?
I express an opinion on AT and the Aholes have to respond to make it personal.....the same folks that no one wanted to pick them to be on their Elementary School Kickball Team. Grow up.

Looking to leave also. I would be happy to lead (again) if we get rid of bots. I made a suggestion to try it for two sets and some Ahole decided to flex the Woke muscle.

With Alliance leaders sitting around on social media trynna build a woke community, what do you expect?
With each passing set, we move further away from the game's original intent and leave the bot hitters to guide the Alliance server future.
It's 2025 and I would ask is to give the Alliance server two sets WITHOUT bots and see how it goes.

Rage, LCN, and other members left when this became a netters game with Bots.
Once upon a time, each Alliance communicated with their members in a single point web site and the individual alliances took pride in their associated tags.
Now, Alliance tag members and leadership speak across multiple websites to build a "community".
Individual Alliancees were once recognized, at end-of-set, in Top 10 categories. They fought their way to get there. Now, we recognize bragging rights to individuals who spend more time in game hitting bots tha we once spent in a War Chat.
Times, they are changing and so has the game. I was under the understaning that COOP was for that.

As stated, members left when this became a netters game with Bots. Look at the "member' count in this set. The "War" tag grew to over 40 members. Foks that were searching for old school Alliance play as other tags faulterd.
Take pride in your Tag. Be prepared to fight to keep it OR stick with the community concept and watch the game continue to die.

Don't try to summarize by Guessing my motives. I played the last set in the "old School" way. I began hitting "human" countries accepting 1:1 retals along the way. I was not playing to war. I wouldn't even care if Alliances farmed within themselves. In the past they may have been farmed more often than others. You needed to build an off and def country to survive. Folks that "were" killed got pissed when having to restart from zero. Many stayed and, some came back, when they were allowed to restart with a percentage of what they lost. As you stated, you were not even here when the bot concept arrived. Your attempt to sllence my opinion is yet one more personal attack. My post never mentioned you or any single person. Just a total game opinion. I happened to be among the first to play Earth 2025 and have seen way too many leave. More so, trying to find a reason to stay. I would bet everyting that I have played more sets than anyone since the days of Earth 2025. I might have missed two sets in all. I remember, I was in a hospital then.

I have recruited many old timers....they come back, see the game changes, and don't even stay the whole set. With bots, there is no longer a strat competition and no need to play strats that involves off and def strats....."boring'

Earth 2025 began as a game of strategy. Build a better country by taking from others while protecting your own.

It required skill to develop the best strategy. The introduction of bots removed the need. The excuse that no one has time for the game is false when you see the amount of land and NW at the end of each 1A set. Takes a bit of time to hit all those bots.
The strategy game has turned the game site into yet another Social Media site with folks branching out ot apps such as whatsapp, Discord, and many others over the years.

A handfull of folks that got tired of the defensive side of the game begged and received the bots. This small population got what they wanted and the rest of the folks left.

P.S. I still remember when AT was a place of smack talk among Alliances and, sometimes, individual countries. Now as a Social Media platform, it has become a site for attacks on the personal level. Folks looking for attention. All we need to expand this current version of AT is a "Like" button and then we can really grow this social media site....Damn kids.

P.S.S. Prove my point. It is the year 2025. Who would have thought that when some of us began playing Earth 2025, in the late 90's, that this gane would still be here.
Would be cool to remove Bots from 1A for the rest of 2025 and see who stays, see if we can grow. IF it doesn't work, then stop the slow death of 1A and just get it over with.

PDM is, and shall be, nothing but a bunch of netters in a War Game. Really hard to lead a team of Bot Hitters.
