I see a couple of myths from Zimmerman defenders repeated all over the place.

1.) Zimmerman did not have "every right" to follow Martin because he followed him across private property.

2.) Zimmerman clearly lied about the extent of the fight. His injuries were pathetically minor. There's zero chance repeated concrete strikes would cause only a 2 cm and 0.5 cm cut. There was also no DNA on the concrete at all. Moreover there's no chance Martin landed over a dozen bare-knuckle blows as there would be more damage to his knuckles and Zimmerman's head.

3.) A medical doctor never diagnosed Zimmerman with a broken nose. He declined to go to the hospital that night and when he saw his physician he simply told them he had a broken nose. When that doctor gave him a referral to a specialist he declined.

Not a fan of any of the business we have apparently found ourselves in. Obama came off like "Don't act like you guys don't do it too." when questioned on it. I don't really care if they do it or not. It's unbelievable that we apparently have to have the "If your friend jumped off a cliff..." talk with our senior politicians.

Any EE or CS majors out there remember how to calculate this crap and wouldnt mind giving me a brief explanation of how its done? Something with it is just not clicking for me:

I have an application whose memory access pattern is a stream and its entire data set is 128kB. The data cache in your machine has a capacity of 64kB. It is word-addressable and direct-mapped with 32B lines. It is able to fetch one line at a time.

Given the access pattern: 0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, …, where each access is a 4B word.

Hoop: im not a subscriber to the PER stat like many are. It basically rewards ball domination and volume shooting regardless of shooting efficiency.

IMO one of the great weaknesses in Lebron's game is that he HAS to have the ball and initiate the offense. He is very poor at moving without the ball and proper floor spacing when he doesn't have the ball which is something most other "great" players were masters at.

As it stands today Lebron is not even a top 5 player in history. (Jordan, Bird, Magic, Abdul-Jabar and Russell) and its debatable that he's even top 10. Bryant, Shaq, Robertson, Duncan, Irving, and Mikan all have legitimate arguments to being more significant.

One of the major problems with that dumbass strategy is console HD space limitations.

Moreover count me as one who thinks I should be able to sell/transfer digital copies of games as well. Good guy Nintendo allows this on the VC.

Results? crappy finishes even at the t10 level.

I mean just let the numbers speak for themselves. not to mention you guys have guys like lenshark who misses the food peak like every set.

when I think of evo, I do see them as the closest netting competition, but really, since I've started the only time evo wins anw is when they net and we war. half our alliance just says f it to serious netting.

I say to evo, how about picking up the slack a bit and seriously put some more effort into being better players

All the arguments I've seen so far are hilarious. Last set, all the traders were warring. We had sodawater and like 2 other individuals. We did a tiny bit of trading with md before they warred, and that was pretty much it.

As I've already shown, you guys took thousands of acres from our detagged players, just like we did. Hell, you guys farmed the hell out of one of the detaggers before we even touched him. And for your top ranked players, you had pdm to farm all set. After the initial week or so, your top players were barely touched...it's the lower ranked players who suffered from it.

Knowing about game changes? Well, you got me there. qz told me and rossoneri about 6 hours before he made the info public. He asked a few of us to playtest the changes on the alpha server and then announced them on the forums here. qz isn't a magical fountain of secrets and advance knowledge to us...he didn't even know anything about us warring until a day AFTER you fsed us.

You just don't understand tella. Their countries had 0.0000000000000000000001% chance of being retaliated against so they are 2LEGIT! You guys did not so you are SCUMBAGS!

I just don't understand how LaF of all alliances feel they have the moral authority to dictate what constitutes a "legit" top 10 finish given their history (both recent and in the ancient past). Just admit you're doing it to be pricks, because nobody except yourselves is going to agree to have LaF define a "legit" finish.

I would consider it unlikely Lebron ever reaches Michael/Magic/Larry status if they lose this series. That would make it one title in 11 years when the others all had at least 3 and that was while having to play against better teams and each other.

It might even keep Lebron out of the top 5 all time. Is he better than Kareem, Kobe, Wilt, or Russell? Heck is he even better than Duncan who would have 5? Championships are not everything but ONE ain't gonna cut it.

That's just totally incorrect. I don't really feel like typing a long paragraph explaining all of the ways you are wrong at the moment but the major reason this was all kept so secret was primarily to prevent people from suing on Constitutional grounds or challenging the fact that they are being spied on in court.

Your 4% mathematical calculation doesn't even make any sense either considering they are monitoring domestic calls. That right there makes me question your overall intelligence.

Remember that what the U.S. Government has been doing isn't illegal. It probably should be, but it's not; so he wasn't simply bringing illegal activity to light, he was disclosing sensitive classified information which is something that we cannot allow, no matter how good the intentions.

Now that doesn't mean I agree with the Government's actions; I generally agree with what John Oliver said: "Nobody's saying you did anything illegal, we just think it's weird that you didn't have to."

The legality of what the US government is doing is highly questionable. The Supreme Court did not say it was Constitutional, it dismissed the initial suit due to lack of standing because no one had evidence they were being spied upon. Now that there is evidence I'd imagine this will move quickly back to the USSC. I certainly think wiretapping everyone and going on a fishing expedition violates the 4th amendment quite egregiously.
It doesn't though. The fourth amendment protects against unreasonable search and seizures. In the past that would be enough; but the fourth amendment only protects you and your property. Every street as a switchboard on it that directs calls automatically; that's not your property. That's government property so the fourth amendment does protect search and seizures of that, which means your calls can be monitored.

Think of it like mail; the government can't go into your house to look at your mail. But if you send something in the mail they can open it up and check if they feel there's a reasonable chance that there's anthrax inside of it.

The government doesn't own any of those switches. Those are private company owned switches built on local and state government right of ways. Those private companies are not willingly giving up this data.

In your example you correctly state the government can open mail under REASONABLE SUSPICION. The government cannot track ALL mail indiscriminately and decide who was doing what based on that practice, which is what they are doing here.

The thing about guys like Jordan/Bird/Magic is they LIKED the high pressure moments. They wanted the ball and to take the shot. They had the swagger of knowing even if a double or triple team came they couldn't be stopped. Lebron has proven he can't handle that kind of pressure.

I like the year you chose to start from there lol

Worthless team? The Cavs were the 1 seed twice. Lebron didn't and can't earn a regular season 1 seed with a worthless team. Lebron was just a choke artist for many years just like he was his first year with the Heat. I've never seen a major player choke and shrivel under pressure over the span of their careers. Last year was the only year he didn't do that.

The thing is Sony and MS are in a strong position vs developers they can tell developers no online DRM and unless the developers want to make their own hardware they will shut up and color or lose sales. MS is going along with this simply because they want control over users.

You talk about fringe cases. What happens when your ISP has fluffed up their fiber ring and you have no Internet access for 3-14 days? Happens all the time. You're fluffed then.

I agree with Rodman but today's Heat would get sliced the fluff up vs the 80s Celtics, Sixers, Lakers and Pistons. After the first time Lebron tried to bulldoze his way to the basket Bill Lambeer would be trying to take his head off. Bird and his crew of HoFers and Magic and his crew of HoFers would surgically pick apart the Heat. No matter how fast you are you'll never be able to outrun the speed of a pass, with intelligent floor spacing and awareness like those teams had it'd be a slaughter.
