That's the issue. The first time there is something that you might not agree with, you could take your members and go, because you have that leverage. We promote those who are active and loyal to our alliance, it wouldn't be right of us to hand out a leadership position to someone who hasn't been in Collab and earned it.

I'm sure other alliances would balk at the issue of having your own separate site as well.

How can you make someone a leader without judging their leadership ability? Or allow them to just be a leader from day one? Wouldn't that be a bit... dangerous?

So Collab's countries are indicated by their name. But Collab has to figure out SoL's countries? Interesting... Guerilla warfare?

Those 3 countries are the entire list of SoL countries?

The only countries I know of all have Collab in their name. And since I didn't organize this, I have no idea if there are others.

Apparently there was no organization of this war. No list of #s. No set date & time to start hitting. I don't know, seems to be just thrown together.

Well... there are 5 countries with Collab in the name, only 3 Sol. So is there going to be some kind of list of #s given out so we know whose involved? Or are they just going to hit and we find out that way?

It doesn't really need the top 5 or 6 alliances to LIKE the policy, it just has to get them on board. Usually 4 straight sets of warring will lead to some kind of policy change. At least that's how it used to back in the day.

fudgepuppy is correct. We have been warring a lot lately and have become damn good at it. This set we are netgaining. We don't just netgain or just war, there is more of a balance here at Collab. You should give it a try or hit up one of our contacts :)

I don't consider IX or WOG to be recent, I'm talking since clans all went under 100 members.

NOW, that is idiotic. HPK has far more to do with the stonewalling of the opponent than the ability of the FSing alliance.

-----------

So what you're saying is you can still have an amazing FS with poor target selection? People stonewall, yes. Do your homework and you'll hit the countries with the least probability of walling. But I guess that isn't necessary.

OK to feed your fishing trip...

Collab FS'd SoL

SoL called in SoF AND TIE

SoF + TIE + SoL vs. Collab

And Collab had no right to call in their allies I guess? Why should we make it an even 1 on 1 when you had the chance and decided a gangbang was better suited to you?

So then it was:

Collab, NA, Evo, DK vs. SoL / SoF
iMag vs. TIE

If you wanted an even war, you shouldn't have called in not one but TWO allies. So justifying your war against Evo & DK based on them gangbanging you is 100% Grade A bullfluff, since you guys are the ones who orchestrated the initial gangbang to begin with.

I rest my case.

SoL called in TIE & SoF to hit Collab.

You mean the gangbang SoL orchestrated by having SoF tag up NaturalS and also calling in TIE to hit Collab? You're right.

Well in their defense they targeted mostly Evo. But still, FS'ing two alliances that are not even 1/2 their size is pretty weak.

You FS Evo & DK? You had a challenging fight last set and got your asses handed to you. So now you go and FS two alliances that combined are not even 1/2 your size. Ballsy.

In Express I offered an Intel pact to a country. He decided to farm me into oblivion beforehand, then accepted the pact. So I cannot retal for 72 hours. This isn't right as I have no chance of retalling before the set is over.

What about making it so you cannot accept a pact from any person you have attacked or been attacked from within the past 24 hours?

People pact the same guys every reset. It's in essence very similar to Team Server. Some of us go into each round with no allies. I haven't had the same ally (to my knowledge) in more than 1 set so far. I just send out random pacts to countries that look decent :P

Maki I hope you didn't take what I said as slandering AoDT's name. I was just saying none of us can have 100% accountability for our members.

And the country we ran into last set that we suspected of this was not tagged SoL, just to clear that up.

Maki - It's not realistic for someone to sit on their computer, staring at the main menu on their country, refreshing it constantly, waiting for someone to fail an op on them LOL. I'm not saying you guys cheated. fluff, I don't care about FFA at all. I do know that what QM described was something we ran into last in a different tag. The guy had no playtimes at several of the KRs we scheduled for him but a single failed op and instantly his readiness was 100%. I mean it is possible for someone to be running a spy bot without your knowledge, isn't it? You can never have 100% accountability for all of your members, no matter what alliance you are in. Because unless you are physically looking over their shoulder, you can only take their word for it.

"well dk is accused of being one fo those suiciders so we easily have a legit reason to both drop your pact and kill you"

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that accusations were convictions on this server. Silly me.

"But instead of just killing you both in 24 hours we asked you nicely to get ouf of a war you no longer need to be in. "

They had every right to be in the war from the get-go. So why is it they must back out now? They were in it early when it was fair, now you're forcing them to get out of the war? That's just stupid.

You guys just enjoy being the bullies. You think you are balancing the server, but all you're doing is controlling the server based on your political interests.

We ran into that with a country last reset in Alliance. It wasn't a SoLer. Everytime we failed an op, his country cashed turns. We ran KRs at all different times, didn't matter. No NW change, just a failed Demo and he cashes turns to regain readiness. We had our suspicions about it but couldn't prove anything. I'm very curious now ...

Errr so you have to sit around and wait for guys to come out of DRs. So basically you are rewarding those who have no lives and sit around waiting for guys to come out of DRs more than they already get rewarded for (LaF & Evo). They are the guys who do it mostly. Which means people either have to spend more time on the game sitting around and scouting targets, or they just say fluff it and quit.

Oh I didn't pay attention I thought there were turns every 5. So 9 more turns than I thought I would have had, that would've easily put me in top 10 :P

I was making over 100K bushels per turn, I don't know the exactly number. But lets say it's 100K even. Even if I had to buy Jets off Private that would've been enough to put me at #8 :P

This is what I'm talking about.

I have 9M bushels for $48. Someone undercuts for $47. They sell out. Back to my $48. They're selling steadily, then some idiot throws Bushels on for $43. Why the $5 difference?

LOL. I don't understand how people can be so bad at this game.

Thomas Game profile

It's express. The market is not that deep. So when bushels are at $48, there is no need to undercut them. They WILL sell. Especially when mine were the only ones on there for that price.

So undercut them, then someone undercuts you and it goes on and on until none of us are making money. It's not a difficult concept. All it requires is patience. If you're desperate for cash because you're warring, then sell the fluff on Private.

Thanks.
