I'm staying well within the grab rules, and I'm only grabbing countries nearly the exact same networth as me. (Yes they have way more land, they are feeder countries after-all) I surely am not hitting any of your main super-countries, and I consider it a very nice gesture that you guys are buying zero military in your feeder countries just so I can hit with ease :/

I assure you I'm not grabbing with malice, plus I'm giving your retaller guy some good targets as his average land is WAY to low to be in TKO :P

Jesst, I suggest you stay relatively small and unopposing while stocking bushels on the public market. Keep track of which alliance hits you the most and the most belligerently, and then buy lots of jets near the end of the set to get your sweet sweet revenge.

That's not quite accurate. We don't care who hates us, and we welcome war. That doesn't mean that we never want to be able to choose who we fight, this is one way that a hated alliance can choose who to war without being blindsided by someone they aren't currently interested in warring.

I barely even knew Ely existed before this much less have any dislike for them. I do wish you would have had some sort of actual reason for this war though, I don't remember the word ELY even being posted on the IMP boards for months previous to today.

I'm sure they'll diagnose him with some "medical condition", but most likely his only problems are a very fluffty set of parents and a very inactive childhood.

I don't really think this change will substantially affect warchat times. Yes it will take a few extra minutes to get a kill, but the change only affects the time in a warchat that you actually spend killing something. If you're in a warchat right now or after the change for more than an hour it isn't because of the time it takes to hit, it's because of the time your leaders are taking to get a target set up and keeping things flowing.

It WILL affect how successful your warchats are as more people will be able to wall, thus wars themselves will last longer not your individual chats.

If this change were to be introduced into FFA where alliances are comprised of hundreds of countries, then you're looking at considerably longer warchats. But in alliance we're looking at ~60 countries per alliance, so even increasing the amount of time between hits to 3 seconds won't make your chats last "2 hours" unless your leaders are waiting 20 minutes between each kill...

The only really negative side effect of this change as I see it is that smaller alliances will find it much harder to get kills due to less members in on each kill combined with mandatory slower hitting.

Cooldown time should be 1 hour so that I can't be killed while I'm at work...
