Noone will give you money, unless they can get something in return. ( except family ) but that NEVER ends well. Any investor will need to go through your business plan which MUST include sales forecast, profit and loss statements ( projected for 60 months ) and these must be quantified through market research.
Telling someone you'll pay them back at 10% interest over 5 years is not enough. Not near it. I don't want to squash your dreams, but the start up market is extremely competitive, extremely and most all think they have the best idea and a fail proof plan.
Remember no business plan is fail proof.

I do wish any startup the best success. I have successfully done the venture capital route and can say it's hard work. I would also recommend if you can raise your own capital, perhaps save up develop a prototype or sample and market that on a small scale to test your idea. Then you have results you can take with you to an investor.
why do hundreds of millions of people play mafia wars? Its the same thing WITHOUT the community style play in alliance server but hundreds of millions of people play it.
Make it engaging and you wont have 5000 countries sitting at 32k nw you'll have 100,000 people trying to grow!

tech is key to keeping your expenses down and your income UP. Most countries when you specialize will run negative income per turn. I am no expert here but as you specialize just keep stock on hand ( cash ) to pay for your turns.
As you attack an opponent, their military decreases as well as yours, so after about 13 attacks their military will be half of what it started as. Most servers have enough oil available at any given time for a player to make as many attacks as they want.
That would imply the player had enough stocks ( cash or food ) saved to do that right?
I got bpt to about 30 i think which was about 100 cs. Then i build about 300 farms to keep food production up enough to sell bushels to explore and build labs up to 3500 labs to sit me total just under 4k acres. Then tech biz, mil, weapons and agri. I got mil to about 40k, biz at 40k, weapons at 40k and agri to 180k then explore out to 10,000 acres building farms. Then drop labs and build out res in farms. Then sell food on market to buy military, to grab up for 20k acres building farms out to 20k, then top up tech and finish around 18mil nw... :( I get stuck there.
Say i want to play farmer. Is it better to start as a techer to say 3500 labs and tech out agri tech to 200k? Then switch to farmer? And buy other techs from selling bushels? Or best to tech it out then switch and top up other techs?
