Went to a funeral today for the father of my wife's brother's girlfriend. So, I didn't know the guy, but when everyone got done talking about him I wish I did. He will be missed.
Alright, one half of a barely decent game, this third week, and then a rookie scrimmage, nest week, and then, BANG!!!, Monday night and the New England Bradiots are in town.
The whole illegal immigration thing is tough. Too many folks slipping through is bad, for many reasons. But, those people are doing the same thing that most of us would do, so how can we hate the individual?
Grabbing and getting grabbed is part of the game. If you can't handle getting grabbed don't play. If you get grabbed, shrug it off and go get land. Explore or grab someone else. It gets your country growing again and it is more productive than whining or war.
I know I am, damnit. They made me nervous there for awhile, the whole rich guys vs. richer thing and the thought that there might not be much of a season. Not to begrudge either group for what they have earned. Nobody gets such to high levels without a ton of work.
