Were you there? Tellarion clearly indicates that he has been in (frustrating) talks with them. So since no resolution was reached, a state of war started.

I don't see why you keep bringing the ewpp in here, once Titan decided to do an act of war, according to the pact, any and/or all signees can declare war on them. In this case Evo will just deal with them alone.

It might not have been very friendly of the Evo member who started it all (#36), but he only did 4 grabs, which, according to the terms, is not enough to trigger the pact.
If anything, Titans broke it (though I can see their PoV) with their missiles nd harmful spy-ops. I see no way to call ewpp on Evo here, at this point they're just responding to TITANS agression.

From everything I can see from alliance B/C s internal message board, the retal due on country A was marked as DONE after the one hit and was not up for 80% cc.
Since country A initiated and came out ahead, despite the uncertainty with untaggeds this rest, I expected this matter to be closed. Guess I was wrong.

Btw, as a peaceful netter, just because you have stock doesn't mean you should blow it all to retal a big break. Cross country retals are rather common in 1a.

So I guess I vote yeah, despite the fact that your basic voting premise was wrong, but something tells me you already made up your mind unfortunately.

We have some (very) good netgainers, I would probably rate many top LaF and EVO players higher, but we have more than enough in-house knowledge to make anybody a good netgainer. That, combined with Omegas big advantage of having the highest odds that you won't get dragged into a war makes us a fine choice, even as a second loser :).

This is actually a poor example. Evo, sure, they would get killed, but any other member of the LaF/SoF/Rival/RD powerblock can (for now) get away with a lot more griefing than e.g. Evo could. We're small, old and inactive and several of us are stocking, but I've still put this guy up as offline kill for those of our members who can spare the turns, and I hope other, bigger, alliances will do the same so he can be taken out before he hurts more of you guys.
