Seriously, techer is quite tough to play as a full set strategy. Any non-teching turns are almost non productive. No other strategies suffer from this. So if you have a few failed spying or so it really hurts...

Great stuff. Very helpful! Actually this may not be always good. Sometimes you would rather pay for a small premium in public and ensure you have sufficient private to digest all cash!

For every military units I bought from public market, my private market units available falls by same amount. This happens only when I was close to 30m nw. Any thoughts? Bug?

If that's the case, military and food cost will fall given the increased supply. More players will switch to indies and farmers from cashers. Ultimately game will reach new equilibrium - may not turn out to be as good as you may expect.
