I've ran 600 spal (yes 600) on a positive income with 15m-20m jets and 25m turrets.

I feel like i saw someone in the 60s during a war when I played with NA back in the day. I think UncleC or UncleJ or some Uncle used to run some really high SPAL countries too.

if you destroy all your residential buildings your population will go down though, no? Not to zero, but residential buildings boost your population and if you destroy them youll lose that benefit right?

I don't want to spend my $ on jets and whatever to hit back though, I want to stock bushels :(

got hit 4 times, only broke 1... Am I wrong in that you only get 1 shot to grab or is it standard to procedure to hit several times? I don't wanna go back and wreck someone if this is now standard

right, i get the 50% thing i was mostly wondering about this

2 troops = 1 turret (well with pangqz factor its more like 2.2 troops)
1 jet = 1 turret (same as bove)
1 tank = 4 turrets (same as above)

I can do the math from there. I didn't actually find a country with only 300 turrets XD

I'm sure this depends on the server youre playing on and strat youre playing, but what are people's thoughts on the best way to spend your bonus points?

I usually play a Fasc Farmer, I remember someone doing the math for when turns we're better than food booms. I'm curious about the value of the GDI and then also with the farmer in regards to decay and it's value.

No worries, I was a fringe member for a couple years right before the switch from swirve. It's good to see a couple familiar names pop up in the thread here though. I def remember fordy, drinks, t4t, and people talking about other names mentioned. Would be fun to do a reunion set. I just don't have the time or know how to get everyone together. I remember getting an email from llaar every once in a while talking about a reunion set and never got around to joining one :(
