Yeah I don't get the self deleting thing. I ruined my own chance at a good finish by breaking GDI on the wrong country, as soon as I was a little down it was a damn feeding frenzy, but I'm prosecuting war until the end now.

I'm mostly just having fun with it. But yes, I dont get it either.

You set up a pretty crazy commie. Perfect start up, tons of tech early - though I think more geared towards hopes of a lot more land than is available, this set anyway. Put that country in here 10 years ago, maybe even a few years ago could be mammoth.

The vultures are of a hunger this set, and these days in general more so than ever.

That was all I was doing with tmac. Jets and turrets were selling for 80 and 90 and fast and for a prolonged period. Tech was pushing 4k. I have no idea but I just copied him more or less. Of course he smashed my final nw, as of course he was making awesome grabs smacking em all up good. I am not 100% that may have even been the set LB decided to farm him like 7 times and he still won with 25m more nw than my 2nd place.

I think you would be better off to just SPY LB Hess. You just run an op.. real time data vs looking at a final picture and instead watching that picture unfold in real time every so often. Or just say, hey, nice commie how are you doing it ? ;) lol

I am wondering how comparable going back 15 years to now is etc. Have the players gotten better? Have the dynamics changed, and things are not totally comparable. A bit of both, perhaps. Def you would suspect it has gotten harder to have big finishes ??? yet we have seen the craziest of them in recent years.

Cumorah said that is where he got his tech start, from serp. RIP country cumorah. haha. I think I am either going his way, or into techer only retirement.

LB is like tmac these days in most likley to get a W it seems.

Most every commie that wins has the same things in common. Lots of land. Obviously you will need some tech to, but awesome grabs are usually the key reason they win. My only W was simply on fluke. single taps only. And it just so happened that set that SERP had a couple people he was not so lucky to get out of range from after farming them.

Tech was a lot cheaper back in those days.. ;) lol. Tmac ran a pretty crazy techer and he was having to sell he said sub 2k and still broke 100m. That is like 4 or 5 years ago. Fack. We need to get this player count to 100+ again.

I grabbed a million barrel at 99 between last night, and this morning. Currently stacked on turns and not doing much! Seems there are 4 commies doing the bulk of production and likely not too many more joining that production.

My math isn't that great. But one set we had similar tech was CRAZY all set. And unlike this set we were over saturated with commies. below 100 military quick and a lot of the set. And the top two finishes were still commies. Very strong strategy overall for any noobs reading this. I talked to tmac about it and he even gave me ways to work it out. When and what prices (especially we are talking about non strategy specific techs). Would be worth buying and when....considering your income amounts cost of the tech etc. I more or less just copied him that set tech wise and finished with way less tech than usual. But still finished 2nd place behind him. That math is all over my head. I remember the last set I techd i spied who end game i would learn was gerdler and to me his tech looked very low, with so much cash on hand...maybe partly as I was a techer selling tech for peanuts unfortunately. lmao but no i thought he needs more tech with all that cash sitting there. Looked low. I told him he needs more tech. He was like OK thanks. Obviously he didn't and dude ended up smashing like 175m finish or something insane. Math.... ha.

Seems this set tech is gonna be even crazier than last. I got 500million im hoarding as its too expensive for me. I get the bare minimum. Definitely sure we will see some real big finishes with the techers especially if food stays low. What a set to be a alive and teching....

He may have been a techer, and the cause of me not getting tech from our alliance may have been that I was a rep casher actually now that i think about it.

Seems like it causes you to get like 50 tech points or something really low

I was ready to quit on this. ;) Sheesh first set back and had an offer from some dummy who attacked me to leech tech from them. Was very sad later to see the new formula at play. Should have just took my juicy retal (Which I was in the process of doing when they sent the offer real time. Lol

Where are they getting the proclaimed 2 million players from?

It is interesting to ponder what happened to Earth. First one may ask, what happened to the original Earth 2025 - and why? ( I will bet in part as swirve was a for profit model and revenue from advertising was dwindling) This was the start (well the further point there of) of the decline of Earth. Qzul and company did very well and at a point we did get into having 1k+ players.

I think a large part of the issues aside from the many things we can declare or suggest as the downfall of current player numbers, is time. 25 years later, here we are. It is a like a car they used to make but no longer do. Not so much there was a problem with that car, it just ran its course.

Who knows. I would certainly love to be playing with 1k's of players like back when E2025 first got going many moons ago though. :)

Needless to say I am always thankful for the memories and good times I have had each set both in E2025 and EE.

try and load up on organic whole foods. Lots of fruits and veggies. Avocado (lots of healthy fat) Olive oil, nuts and seeds, spinach, chicken, fish etc :) You are a trooper KoH.
