Yeah, a few names I think I remember. Definitely servant. I was on a lot say '96-99. Think I came back a couple times in the early 00's. Turns with Omega & SoF. Nice to see that it's still alive - sad to see how small it's gotten.

Anyone play OGame? Happened across it just recently. Apparently it's got quite a following. Seems interesting but time consuming.

If you're playing it or have played it in the past, I'd love to get some feedback. I'm particularly interested in figuring out if alliances are necessary or optional. Also would love to get some n00b tutorial info, haven't found much of use just yet.

Sourdough and Italian can be pressed into service for sandwiches and are entirely respectable choices. However for the standard ham sandwich consisting of bread, ham, mustard with the possible addition of one or more of the following (cheese, lettuce, tomato) - pumpernickel trumps them all. It even beats out rye, which is probably the more popular choice. I suspect that this is due to the prevalence of rye and relative scarcity of pumpernickel more than any perceived superiority of rye.

Pumpernickel is the best of all the breads for the purposes of toasting to accompany eggs or for ham sandwiches.

Agree? Disagree? Discuss. Frivolous statements endorsing the superiority of whole wheat should be interpreted as trolls and dealt with accordingly.

I hypothetically may or may not have a little country bubbling in the tourney that is suffering from a botched commie start that may or may not come out blazing in a day or so when turns max.

The pickings look pretty slim, not sure if the sheep:player ratio is going to be as satisfactory as it was in the bottom tiers of the old tourney ladder.
