Selling the troops out of the gate makes sense. Does anyone keep them? What about waiting @ turn 99. This might be more advantageous in express. How many CS are optimal and in what order do you get them? Do you build farms, industrial, res / ent or other?

sell troops and bushels in the beginning, fund your building with farms early and then build ics or ents and resses or labs depending strat, waiting on turn 99 has advantages and disadvantages, 1 advantage is that players who get oop might get grabbed when def is low and 2nd is non-farmers/indies will buy bushels and military early since they lose bushels per turn and they also need defense (especially cashers), 1 disadvantage is that if is farmer/indy then loses potential income when doesn't sell early when non-farmers/indies buy defenses up, casher can wait for a while so that prices drop and then come oop.

i do a heavy cs farm start. in addition, i no longer stop at turn 99. because noone really wants to grab you until you're around 3k acres, so you keep growing till you're there before you need any defence or holding back.

I also do a heavy cs start, sell my 100 troops, and typically build farms if going to be a farmer, labs for teching, etc. It depends on your playstyle, but have a high bpt is always helpful.

Either go with a farm build or indy build(150 of either one) to help your funding while you explore to 2k acres.

my strat is to build around 80-100 cs with some farms thrown in but no more then 50-100 i want my first turns that man nothing to give me plenty later down the road
