Later, I find that you have turns that you need to use to produce military to sell, but attacking all those turns would cost too much.

Is it worth exploring or cashing all my turns?

exploring = need to build up = costs money but increases production, if increased productions money given (sales) is bigger than money spent on building and expenses then explore.

Yeah exploring is good till around the 19 acre per turn mark, then it becomes more beneficial to landgrab because you will not only get more acres, but population as well which will increase money per turn which you can then use to fill up those empty acres.

Explore only when the production from the extra acres(minus cost of building up + tech needed to maintain same tech levels) is more than what you can cash for.

the equations will be

production from the extra acres(minus cost of building up + tech needed to maintain same tech levels) * number of turns remaining is more than the extra cash you produce while cashing * number of turns remaining

so the number of turns remaining cancels out.

If you explore, the extra acres produce stuff for the rest of the set.
If you cash, then you get that just once.

So Viceroy is correct - you need to factor in the turns remaining when doing the calculation.

If cash on hand is the issue, then you may need to look at selling on the public multiple times a day to fund the expansion. Keeping in mind TECH is the key to generating more pt with the same amount of acres.

industrial is must and then business and military, if you are gonna grab land then weapon and military strategy too and sdi doesn't hurt either if some1 who got grabbed by you decides to missile your country.

Spending Turns is good, not spending them is less so.

The only time this should be a problem is the last day or so of the set, after youve dumped your pile and your expenses are just god awful.

If this is happening any other time, sell more.
