The returns are the same. You just lose more jets and oil if you send more.

A good tip is to always send the break + 10% extra just to be sure you have success. Nothing worse than a failed attack.

Does anybody have a formula for the base land gains with SS/PS?

Some clan websites have a estimator land grab returns formula, but none is public information. Formula would be based on months to years of observing how Strategy, DR and NW changes affects returns, and plotting it out and deriving a formula.

and yes, over sending affects at LEAST ghost acres quite a bit... not sure on the exact formula. Granted over sending doesn't hurt returns NEARLY as bad as undersending ;)
