I'm curious as to the rationale of dropping land near the end of the set (I see it in the Tourney set, so maybe it is just there?). What are the benefits?

its called a TMBR oil destock..

You stock as what ever strat you are, then basically you use the oil to units function of the private market to make a lot of units avaliable on your private market after you have switched and dropped your land to Military bases.. Then it gives you a lot of units to buy super cheap.. and you jump at the end..

If you join any alliance or team clan they will have a version of the strategy for you to look at or learn from.

I'm in Stones but wasn't aware this was part of the TMBR strategy. Makes sense
