ror is what makes this server fun. Anyway where does it say u need to allow retals when u hit someone? If you can't have good deffense then you just suck and retals are for the weak.

And no im not DTCP, just someone whos against retals in this server. Unleash doesn't accept retals btw ^^.

72 hours is too easy with 4 turns per hour that is almost 300 turns you can use to build up to take your retal. Not like anybody accepts retals on this server, anyway, but a 48 hour retal window would be probably be more apropriate imo.

Old 1a we had 1 turn per 30 minutes, so a 72 hour retal window was effectively a 36 hour retal window in terms of how many turns the player gets to play to build up to take the retal.

Well if you didn't want that, shouldn't have grabbed your target in the first place if you knew they have full capabilities to strike back, or be able to defend after your attacks.

MKR officially introduces the 72 day retal window. Please have your FA notify us of the country number of all players that have hit us within the last 2 sets so we can schedule a retal at our convenience. Advance notification of planned strat switched, destocking schedules, or baych explores would also be appreciated. Thanks you for your support.

I'm not complaining about 72 hour retal policies, I'm just saying that these policies were created years ago under older formats in which players got 1 turn per 30 minutes, maybe 1 turn per 20 minutes in Council. Nobody has considered the effect of the 1 turn per 15 minutes on these old policies.

I got hit a few times early in the set for a 50, 60 acres and was able to retal 48 hours later for over 1k acres. The 15 minute/ turn accelerates the pace of the game and it seems it would make sense to lower the retal window.

Again I'm not complaining, I'm trying to bring up a point for discussion. Has nobody else thought about this? Could you imagine a 72 hour retal window in express?

Not really, because if you focus purely on offense, you will easily lose land, as I learned last set.

That's not what I was talking about hobo. I was talking about the fact that no matter how much defense you try to get *anyone should be able to get the retal. 3 offensive allies vs. 2 defensive allies. The game is skewed in favor of offense.

Purely offense is just askin' to be farmed :p
