I just don't like the fact someone pretends to consider a retal fair when made 6 days later for a way bigger land amount: that's a "smart" grab, not a retal.

what would you consider an acceptable retal range than? it used to be 72 hours, but im not sure what the etiquette is now since express has skewed everything with the crazy amount of turns you can get.

I accept retals within 72 hours, like in alliance: i think it's a fair amount of time to take back your land.

Otherwise i could just sit here, get farmed, then retal later on for 10x the land.

I don't think it would be fair.

retal window in allaince and team are both 48hrs btw

I love to get grabbed early, then in couple weeks I can retal for sometimes 10x the land taken from me, and for me its WIN WIN, if they don't like it they cana ROR me and I can deposit my missiles in his country :p

as far as i'm concerned, there is no retal window in solo servers.

you got the benefit of my land for 6 days which made you grow faster than me.

having you say "i have done nothing to warrant your attack" then, "accept this retal or we can war" is, for me, a little provocative. i didn't accept your grab on jan 10th as being "nothing". hence my actions.

tell me, why should i accept your retal policy?

karim, i accept you're probably a little narked with me... i know i would be in your position, though i would accept it. 2 hits on me and i pretty much ended your reset, except for what i'm sure is your imminent response which will end my reset. i don't mind. and i don't mind of you take your problem with me onto the next reset.

i have, what i guess you could call, an attitude problem which includes things such as arbitrary ultimatums and i am wont to flex my muscles if someone gives me cause.

i'm happy to accept the consequences of my words and my actions and expect other to live by theirs. if they can't take it, then it's not worth playing the game.

i do believe that i had just cause in my actions and whether others think the same is merely incidental and no cause for my concern.

game A is too political. this is why fluffing around in B/C is more fun....

everyone in game A gets butthurt when they get hit once. you can farm someone repeatedly in B/C with little/no consequence.

Imho retaling 6 days later is not acceptable, for you it's perfectly fair: i retaled, you ABd, i'll hit back, if i can.

It's a game, as long as we both have fun and we play within the rules it's all good, at least that's how i see it.

I just want to clear out that there was absolutely no threat purpose in my message: when i saw your grab i immediately checked the news, cause i didn't remember a grab on you. Nothing did show on the last 72 hours, so i considered that an aggressive grab and retaled: when i said "Your was not a retal but a grab: this is my retal, further attacks will be considered an act of war" i meant exactly that.

I didn't mean "touch me and i kill you cause i am a big badass", it's not my style ;)

the only reason i stopped attacking last night was because i'd seen and recognised your name in your last message. i'll be interested in seeing how you recover, partly because i failed recovering in an adversarial position in the last primary set with someone bigger than me who had left a similarly vaguely threatening message before he attacked me.

JJ, he left me with 991 buildings over 12k land: had to switch to dict and drop 7k land to be able to keep going.

3k buildings and 700acres destroyed...couldn't do more with my turns.

He did a way better job on me with like 11k buildings.

He hurt me a bit, but i was sort of ready and waiting for it. I doubt i'll be able to stay in game a now. I'd already made half my switch to tmbr.

Just remember, next time you demo me, 7 successful ops is all you need.

With tech prices the way they were i think that had i been able to stay all-x as i had planned i would have easily been able to top my previous best of 20m nw
