id like to see a Dictator win. the only thing you really need is extra CS. i have tried but i am so horrible at this game, always a low start. got to like 18k land then went to war. oh well, wouldnt have finished top 25 anyway.

Problem with dict is that I'm not sure what strat it would play.

Indy might seem natural, but for a dict to match that +35% commie bonus you'd need so much more land. Farmer makes sense, fascist bonus is only 15%, but I don't think farmer is powerful enough for non-dem govs. Tech MAYBE, but I'd rather do a tyranny techer if I'm going for bizarre. Casher, ehh, I guess maybe?

he was... later on he stopped caring so much about netting and started doing some 'un-legit' alliance killing.

but his finishes were very much legit.. he used to be watched like a hawk by Patience and a bunch of other players

I'm ashamed to see my name being mentioned alongside some of the all-time greats (the list is not complete, there are many others). Just to name a few shortcomings I have compared to these other folks:

a) I don't have any >30m nw express countries to my name
b) I don't own any of the records (nw, land) - for both EE and E2025 days

What I do have are just some fluke wins lol.

since indy, farmer, techer, and casher are the 4 viable strategies in this game.. i use viable because yes you could play a combo, or you can do oiler or MBR, but neither of these are full reset strategies. (until someone wins with an oiler from turn 1 and proves me wrong)

furthermore, with the 4 basic strategies, with an exception of indy, theres at least 2 differnt governments that you can use for each strategy, thats at least 7 winning combos...

id say a great player is someone that las at least won with 3 out of the 4 strategies, and maybe at least 2 different govt types on a couple of them.

It doesn't matter how much turrets are selling for right now.. it's too early. Some non-commies might be selling $100 turrets just for a quick jumpstart of their opening game
