unfortunately 1 man tags arnt really seen as legit tags until formal political relations are established.

thats just the way the server rolls. for next time, talk to all the big clans. there are many players that get DNHs from the large clans.

I'm more then open to land trading, ghost acres ftw... and no it's not "how the server rolls" it may be how you roll but NBK(the top dog of FFA imo) holds small clans above all else and treats them with the respect they deserve enforcing a strict limitation on land grabs/24 hours.

You could look at any one of my countries and realize there was no possible threat from them towards anybody, low to no defense demos with fluffty spal, no SDI, weapons or warfare tech.

But alas, I am done now... it was fun, sorry about the country Ford but it wasn't aimed towards you. Maybe you should take this experience and realize your clan's policy towards untaggeds and one man tags is not fair and will put something in the woodwork to stop this from happening in the future(you're not the only clan to farm me at all but you are definitely the largest and should take more responsibility when it comes to what is best for the server)

I farmed all untagged countries and crap tagged countries all reset. Like Ford said, if people request a DNH from us we gladly give it. To be honest, I don't need land but I have nothing else to do. I will continue to farm untagged and crap tag countries and hope that they kill one of my countries so I can go back to killing or dumping the excess 250 missiles I still have after dumping on you. Unfortunately I can not liquidate the rest as your networth is too low.

This is another reason we don't have many new players, that are willing to stay, for another set, or even finish their 1st set.

NBK sees tagged countries as... Tagged countries.. Our LG policy is a bit more relaxed on those, but still frowns on the farming of either tags and untags...

What's unfortunate, is the fleecing done by so called established clans, that DO farm the fluff out of new players and small clans.. cough CC cough...

2-3 members have done it in the past 4-5 days because we have no war target. they are free to do whatever they want. what isnt happening is us accepting the killing of one of our countries over a few grabs.

To me that means getting involved with other players and making political ties. You have your opinion about the server and I have mine. The difference is that I believe in strong group play and interaction and do not care about ´crap tags´. You dont see anyone in our alliance hitting established 1 man tags or trying to make the biggest grab of the reset on some netter who self-farmed. Clearly our policies, like all alliances in the game, are detrimental to specific other players. You punish netters and we punish unaffiliated players that are to us, not playing in the spirit of the server.

farming happens all the time. recruiting is what will help bring people to the server and stay. roll untagged without using political intervention, and see how gay the game is on this server. if your not in an alliance in a game that is set up for it, your gonna lose. i could see your point if the game admins put such a rule in place.

If TAWNN was an established tag back in the day then there is no reason why they shouldn't know what will happen to them if they kill a country in another alliance without FA contact, there is also no reason why they they shouldn't/couldn't have made FA contact requesting a pact/DNH at the start of the reset. Which in return gives even less reason why they should be even less surprised that someone farmed them (hell maybe they weren't).

This is of course ignoring the fact that the person running this tag is someone who has been playing on this server since it's rebirth and in an established alliance at that (NBK). It's pretty obvious they didn't expect to finish out the reset, at least not at the top of the scores lists.

The point apo may have been trying to make is you're more or less questioning the honor of CC because he/they have farmed untagged/unestablished ("1 man") tagged countries. Meanwhile your own alliance is committing actions that also are considering dishonorable by many. Members of your alliance who clearly aren't netgaining (have zero stock, do not play weeks at a time, etc) have been aggressively grabbing netting alliances for large amount of acres all reset long. Maybe this would be fine if you were looking for a war, however you guys posted on FFAT that you are netgaining and asked your friends and enemies to please respect this. Regardless of how much defense the countries grabbed do or don't have, this is something I personally (keyword here) do not respect. Especially when it isn't just members but leaders in your alliance, leaders I personally have seen hit just for the sake of competing with another member for largest grab and taking 5 billion cash (not including lost production) in the process.

Jesus... I was farmed and retaliated in my own way. I fluffed up earlier in the set when I left NBK and got suicided on so I quit for a while playing team and express then got the itch and was going to get a country hopefully with a few billion bushels in it and have a *decent* finish. If I was running the tag the whole set I would have made contact but I wasn't worried about lasting the whole set.

I had been playing everyday with multiple logins retalling the hits on me well. Some ass at CC thought he could rape my tag and jump out of range for retals(which in reality I could have done a few but after those there was no way I was going to be able to break him after he jumped again to avoid the retals which was inevitable). I consider 5 hits on a single country reason to kill, so I DOW'd on CC killing one original country and maiming another.

It was a fluff move on their part and they suffered, hopefully Apo gets his ass kicked by fordy and will not farm a string of 15 countries and expect to get away with it.. which he kind of did, lucky bastard.

You top feed the hell out of netting tags and fluff with them.

How would you know this? There are a few playing a wargain strat, mainly because they do not believe the server won't allow NBK to net in peace. If you think netters are not required to protect their countries via military, I'd say there's a flaw in that thinking.
We have a member who got hit for over $7 Billion in cash, alone, just yesterday.. It's inherently dangerous, to test the odds of running unprotected, but I haven't seen NBK complain about it on FFAT..

Nowhere did I say that netters should not protect there land, but there's a certain point in the reset where your 'teach them a lesson' excuse gets old. It is late in the reset, land goals really should have been met by now. People are in the middle of stocking, hell some are already starting to dump their stock.

I understand the importance of being prepped for war during a netting reset, I was a leader of a warring alliance in 1a for close to ten years and actually lost a war because of it. I have been spying/market spying NBK strings that like to make 'topfeeds' (I realize you don't recognize 'topfeeds' but I know you understand the term/what I am referring to) and some of your 'war prepped' countries can hardly be called that. If you need an example check out the 970ish 'phobia' string, he is one of your most aggressive topfeeders. He has no oil stockpile, no cash/bushels stocked, and no sdi. These are 3 pretty key ingredients to war prepping and he has none of them. This is not a country that is war/netgaining, this is someone grabbing to be an asshole.

No, you're not complaining about the hits you've received, but I really doubt anyone is grabbing you guys anywhere near as much as you have the people you are not pacted to. I bet yesterday was the first time you've had any significant losses from landgrabs. However you did question the honor of another alliance because of the way they treat people who run solo on an alliance based server, that more than opens you up to be called out on the way you treat other/netting alliances during a reset you openly requested people to respect your own netgaining wishes. Especially when you have members who clearly are playing turns maliciously.

Most of our grabs have ended with each country involved gaining the ghost acres generated by the hits.

IMO, if you don't want to buy defense then you should have to waste turns putting your countries into DR. You decide which is more effective and roll with that. I drool every time I find a 60k land country with no defense and out of DR. Those are the only grabs that everyone involved does not come out even. If that is you then STFU you have no defense and you let your DR run out so you failed at your own strategy. Blame yourself not the person who exploited your failing.
