they have finally brought my Child support inline with changes made by the govt over 2 years ago...


So from $960 a month to $370 a month.. happy days...

The ex wife just sends me an abusive email saying how unfair it is...... she got an extra $6k+ out of me over the last couple+ years cause child support agency are fluffwits..


The response of fluff you fluff is making me smile internally...

6k a year sorry... makes me even more glad...

can you re-coup the overpaid child support?

Well she cries poor, but earns about 75k a year, went out and bought a car for 25k, went on a 10 day cruise and a trip to Queensland all in the last 2 years... yet tells my daughter she cant afford lots of stuff...

our system is a joke, people for for decades with out paying, but if you do pay they squeeze you for all they can get and then wonder why so many people default...

I lost my job in Oct(got fired)and in the 3 months i had off work,looking for a new one they now want "back child support" yet if i quit/resign from a job i then have to keep paying as "I" choose to leave my employment.... its just crazy...

And its the same for both male and female if you are both working(so this is by no means a shot an any sex as i have female friends in the same boat) it is set up to protect non working mothers(or parents) and has been for 20 years and is screwed because of it..

They changed things over 2 years ago where both parents wages/Expenses etc were all calculated to make the payments...


Cause i was in a very high paying job and left it(had enough of the fluffty hours and major stress and health issues) they made me pay the same support, which really sucks and is just stupid...

damn $960 a month is crazy. i know at least in my state they base it on how much you make. my aunt gets $200/wk for 2 kids.

yeah they were basing mine of me earning arounf the $160k-$180k mark... which i was doing many years ago when they did the paper work... they choose to keep that figure regardless of what i was "actually" earning..

what u say is soooo true.... my best mate(till he got terminal cancer) was paying around the same as me,yet his ex partner had neve worked a day in her life(as a tax payer) and was collecting his money and welfare...

We did the sums and she was earning around $600 a week(clear) just because our system is weak....unless u want to rape it...

The times i have been out of work i have supported myself with my own savings and the system was still trying to screw me....

I know, in my state PA, it's based on what you earn, even if you loose your job.(laid off or fired)
They will take that into account, (the money will continue to add up) both they won't threaten to throw you in jail.

When I walked away from my ex-wife, I took my child with me. She had already made a mess of my life, I wasn't about to allow her to continue doing so for an extra 16 years. It was in the best intrest of my son anyways to be with me. I've watched a lot of my friends fight it out in the courts because the chick is mad and tries to play the games to make it as hard as possible on the guy.

I waved child support on my Ex, and we have as little to do with her as possible.
