where you playing hold-em these days?

ClubWPT.com, actually. There's just about no pay site you can (easily)play at if you live in the US.

Club WPT somehow can charge a monthly $20 subscription fee that gives you 500 "tournament points" per day that you can legally translate into cash games, tournaments, or even seats at WPT events.

Myself, I'm qualified for a seat at a $10,000 cash tourney on Sunday that I didn't pay a dime to be in. All I did was win a satellite.

LOL, no live poker at the casinos?

I haven't gone and played live poker in quite a while.I've been more or less unemployed for the last 2.5 years, and while I have a relatively understanding wife, she's not quite THAT understanding, if you know what I mean.

I thought you were good enough that you could bring home the bacon at the casinos. As long as you were making money I'd think the wife would understand. LOL

Unfortunately, I AM "good" what I am NOT is lucky. Better to be lucky. I don't want to talk about the few tens of thousands of dollars I've lost due to bad luck.

Now if you wanna bring a hundred dollar bill and play a little head-to-head over a few beers, I'm down with it, luck or no. :)

LOL I know what you mean there. That's why I like 7 card stud better than hold-em. more skill less luck involved.

Timewise, how far are you from Pittsburgh?

a little over an hour. I'm at the Rivers most monday afternoon's. but I have not been playing poker much at all the lat few years. mostly playng BJ.

Well hell. Some Monday, maybe we can hook up and hang out. As long as you're not playing high stakes BJ, that is. :)

no high stakes, I'm at $5 tables most of the time. anytime your heading down that way on a monday let me know. I go on mondays because that's the day the store is closed.

daytime, it's to crowded later in the day. I get there about 10am and leave sometime between 3pm and 7pm depenimg on how things are going.
