Well I'm a rookie but you use your demos to buy up all your food at cheap price and sell it in house, helping your other countries destock at same time :) and make a small profit.

Last set I had 6 demo techers.. three I converted to DMBR early and three I teched out til the last week of the set and bought up off the private/public (with maxed military tech)

They finished about the same .. DMBR isn't as reliant on the market, plus there is good reselling to be done with so many people jumping public.

Either way you have to have maxed military tech

I'm playing a demo casher. I'm thinking that converting to DMBR would be counter productive as I would most likely lose as much by not cashing as I would gain by converting. Anyone with any thought on how a hybread would do? Like maybe converting 20% of the buildings to militay bases.

I've never really thought hybrid's are efficient/worthwhile.. I think you'd do better just jumping off private/public using standing orders, and making profit buying food for less than 36 off public and selling it on your private for 36.

well whatever you do you should have more than 20k acres

I had a hell of a time spending my stock just on my private market.

#70 was my country last set and it was rough

if i recall correctly i ended the set with 400mil still to spend

max mil tech and standing orders is the way I went and I did not play a turn for the last few days as it cost more per turn than I was making off the food at $36
Damn missed it
