How about if you used to play using WebTV.

I was out of college, and couldn't use university computers anymore, had a terrible job, couldn't afford a new computer, and mine died. How sad was that? Luckily, I saved up and bought an E-Machine. Which is also sad.

I still have Austinite on ICQ (but I haven't started it up for years now). And I still miss the days before tags, when you kept track of your friends by importing a CSV list of country numbers. And only the country that you hit could retal... ahhh, those were the days! Land was plentiful, wars were justified...
