I think the issue isn't that you're retaliating, that's reasonable. The issue is hitting people who obviously were not doing it. Seriously, it's akin to terrorism. The same reason there was so much of an issue with the people who came from team server to hit innocents. I guess it's good for getting your message public, but it's lame and a waste of everyone's time. I would imagine both of those alliances would be happy to have you retal against those players that hit you according to their own rules. Aka, while it is rarely seen, if you did a kill run on someone who RoR'd you multiple times, it would be way more accepted publicly and lead to the results you're likely interested in.

I remember SOL killing LAF for an overretal. 70 countries killed over 2 retards. I think what we did for continued farming over several days is far less of a retaliation...

From what I can see Omega had one country that hit you guys multiple times.
It would have been easy enough to retal only that country (with whatever missiles you have) and/or contact somebody from Omega.

Actually, IF Omega would do anything without talking to you first, I doubt it would be more than kill the one country that is doing the farming.
I'm pretty sure that before killing off an entire tag (if Omega would even have the activity/membership to do so) you guys would be contacted first.

To play devils advocate: the reason spawn does that is because he consideres anyone in the same tag with people who farmed them to be guilty by assoication.

I don't personally agree with that if it was the act of a few as the Tag doesn't always have 100% control over everyone.

Like for example Omega. Obviously it was one player action on their own. That to me should be considered. But Spawn can play however he likes.

seriously, you farm a clan the way Neo and Omega did and you expect them to contact you? I don't normally say good things about RD but at least someone there was smart enough to come forward before they got hit.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure it's just random who they decide to go after. I can make a case for LCN, RIVAL and RD just as well as Omega/Neofed.

well the whole idea behind samcro is to protect each other by any means necessary (like most alliances). They clearly do not have the power to retal every hit made on them all set long. They also cannot feasibly be able to suicide each country that LGs them if that country buys up out of their range. So by using these "scare" tactics they make each clan aware that they will suicide innocents if one person abuses them. It makes each clan accountable for every country and IMO could be effective.

I know I warn people every set of what they will do and I put them on DNH. If someone farms them while on DNH and others end up paying for their actions, I would be far more upset with the person putting my clan in danger (by farming Samcro), than I would be at Samcro for their retaliations. After all, they have warned us time and time again that they want to be left alone. Very similar to what the CROATIA guy has done. He retals single hits to the best of his ability, but if you farm him you will likely pay for it.

yeah. spawn has like zero moderating powers on alliance. His access to alliance server is the same as any other normal user.
I'm also pretty sure that he wouldn't do anything about this situation that would exceed what a normal player or alliance leader could do.

Game moderation is not like forum moderation at all in the sense that game mods generally don't get access to all server (only myself and the admins do). On top of that any game moderation action is logged so there is never any anonymous deleting going on:P

I"m fully confident that spawn isn't a power abuser anyway (not that he has any special powers to abuse on alliance server) so lets drop that line of dicussion mmmk?
