Traps aint working... Rat/mouse poison working....

started with two and have killed 2 and now have 5 of the fluffers...

No i don't have a cat...

That said, I have mice in the walls, it seems. They're getting into the Vanity in the bathroom. Big opening in the wall board where the plumbing/drain/vent stack meet up with the bathroom sink.

I got a (lethal)mousetrap. Baited it with Peanut Butter (for fluff SAKES, Pat do NOT use Vegemite) and set the trap. I guess we'll see what happens.

Mice and rats are tough to keep out. Anywhere they can get their heads, they can get their bodies. If it was me, I'd get a cat. Or a constrictor snake you can let loose in the house.

The downside to a cat is that they get in these moods where they want to impress you with their hunting prowess. One morning, my black cat Ozzy (may he rest in peace) woke me up not by pawing or clawing at me. It was the crunching of bones as he ate his fresh kill right next to me. I mean, good on ya Ozz but the whole "breakfast in bed" thing was, well, a bit disturbing.

I'll re-bait and reset the trap just in case this one had friends ad family living with it. Baiting a mouse trap must be delicate work because she told me she thinks I'm a master baiter. I think she still loves me.

She's driving to Columbus today to adopt a rescue cat. 8 month old Maine Coon, so my Mousetrappery will hopefully come to a quick conclusion. But I think I'll keep baiting regardless.

when i was a kid i would grind down about a 2# nail's head so it would just fit in my bb gun and shoot it like a dart. Put some food on the floor, turn on cartoons and just wait. once i shot right threw it's body and pinned it to the ground - running in circles. guess you had to be there...
