Between each reset there's a timeframe for applying for the draft. Somehow, team captains are selected. They take turns drafting players onto their teams. Each reset repeat the draft with different team leaders. Have basic reset wide policies regarding LGs etc. so that you don't need to worry about the politics. Provide a website for each team that resets each set based on the players who are there - perhaps even a special board on this forum. Give each team a few days after having been drafted but before starting the rest to plan what their goals are - net gain, war, starts etc.

Spice things up. Give people a chance to play with others... would strengthen the community and make the gaming experience less repetitive.

Save individual stats and compile them so that team leaders can use them to draft the better players.

Yeah, I do really like this idea.

In reality, it may be rather difficult to implement, however I think it would be pretty fun. So fun I might even consider playing something other than Alliance :P

Instead of a draft, just randomly assigning players to teams may be easier to implement. Teams should also have the option of removing members maybe by a vote, since I'm sure there will be players who may try to sabotage their teams.

An interesting twist would be objective based goals that could change set to set. For example: the team with the highest NW Fascist wins, or the team that kills the most citizens wins. You could even implement certain condition scenarios, like each team gets 4 Tyrannies and a Commie, if you kill a team's Commie they're out. Just some ideas.
