new members joining during war, imag never accepts new members at war time.

Going into protection during a kill run

detagging, unless its a really big leadership fluff up and you dont want to be part of it.

having people grab your enemy from other tags just before the fs

tag jumpers into your alliance, guess thats part of #1.

Adding 10mill turrets via cheating... lol

pact breaking i guess? thats before war though so yeah.

Any cheating/babysitting

im sure ill think of more.

so iscode would you consider running a browser app that keeps you logged into your country at all times so you never have to login or get timed out be against your rules?

staying logged in is fine, doesnt really add any value or harm the hitting alliance

So changing tactics in war to take advantage of the new game mechanics is dirty? Then just ab'ing countries in war is just as dirty of a tactic, since you're not actually trying to war, just keep countries down to farm them into oblivion.

I don't think a few of you are on the same page as everyone else with dropping acres. They are talking about dropping your total acres to 10 so an alliance mate can land kill you and you can restart w/ a a country that hasn't been crippled. I would consider that a dirty trick but I won't say that I'm against doing it ;)

Self deleting may be dirty but given that deleted countries do not receive the restart bonus, it is almost better for the other alliance in the long term. Since apparently at a certain point in the reset alliances now have to keep countries crippled instead of killing. So by all means self delete as much as possible! Killing blows are nice for you war stat whores however they are always twisted in each others favor for moral victory purposes :P

I don't plan on joining a war alliance ever again, but these restart changes have made wars a lot more interesting to follow.

what if u have someone drop the acres to under 10 so they can join another alliance instead of detagging and waiting 72 hrs? as in they want out of the current bullfluff and wouldnt mind helping out another alliance in war?

Tagjumping was one of iscodes dirty tricks. I dont think anyone should be allowed to jump tag into a war unless it sonehow directly involves them

i remember a war we had with "someone" there had tagjumpers both way, both of the alliance but not the least into the alliance.

What you are trying to say Boltar, I don't understand the connection...

What does a country's acreage have to do with wanting to leave the alliance/tag it is in (regardless of the reason)? What is important in cases like that is the diplomacy between the alliance it was/is at war with and the alliance it is joining. Of course things like if it was an active participant in the war etc come into play but those are somewhat secondary...

its fine to drop acers if you have been ab'd or BR'd and so fourth.

TY specifically said drop acers to drop out of NW range from the attacker, thats dirty, it not only means that the attacker will move on to somebody else in your alliance but it also will hinder your alliance in how much power it can project back when they hit.

Any selfish act by an alliance member in a war is definitely a dirty tactic and something i wouldnt tolerate in any alliance I was running.

I still have as of yet to see how dropping land to 1 and dying is dirty. If the tactics have changed to ab rather than kill restarts, why is it an issue to use those same mechanics to get back into the fight? Pot meet kettle?

i agree. BUT sending aid should not happen during KRs on that specific country. thus making that country able to wall. else, that's indirectly telling that the tag wants to get involved in the war.

i'm not against dropping acres when being BR'd or AB'd, that's a very impressive tactic. BUT dropping acres and having yourself killed by your own teammate to take advantage of restart benefits, that's lame. you should just self-delete.

i think the mods should look on that and make sure restart benefits are controlled to a certain level, not abused.

end of the matter is, leaders just can't swallow their pride and admit defeat. ;)

na, i have had plenty of people FA me when walling, maybe not during a kill run, but in between hits of walling, i dont see a problem with any FA.

on that note, im not saying anything thats posted is the server standard, i am just stating my own personal opinion.
