Let me dominate the market :) please play farmer or cashier everyone who is undecided.

If history shows anything all the top players land/ net who all roughly all place top 20. There is already 7 of us playing commie myself included. That's 420,000k acres plus of commie indy power min. Not cool so far IMO

Don't worry, seems like Primary can accommodate lots of Industrials and Cashers, but not so many Farmers or Techers.

I did that one set, it was a very fun set. I just made the mistake of converting to theo to destock instead of staying as a facist. Really new to primary and didn't know any better and lost a ton of net lol.

Well, looking at absolute numbers won't paint a good picture. Even with more CIs, military prices could still be good if there're a lot of cashers. We need to look at the number of CI and cashers together.

I wish more ppl would have listened to me. A few ppl went other strats due to this message. But would have been better with alot more going cashier.

If military gets any lower we may as well sell on private market.

well, the market consumes about 200M bushels a day now.
That's about 3.7M bushels produced/turn/day by all the farmers in the game.

Divide that by 5.3 bushels produced/farm and then further divide by 1.8 (assuming farmers have average of 180% agriculture tech), that gives approximately 390k acres of farms in the game. Don't see that many big farmers around, so it must mean there're a lot of small ones.

Is it just because farmers were outgrown by others during the first half of the set due to the really unfavourable market conditions for farmers?
So then the high prices would be somewhat of a correction.

And of course stockpiling techers also add to higher prices.

yeah, I ran a farmer last set and it's harsh in the first 30 odd days. If you're not careful, you get farmed and beaten down.

It is funny how connected techers and farmers are. Farmers need techers to begin stocking so the food price rises above private market prices. Techers need to sell their stock before the farmers get to (or close to) max resource decay.

I ran a farmer once only. I mostly just got top fed, not bottom fed, but I used turns bonus instead of decay. Finished 106m in a set where food price average was $38 ($1 away from the worst set of all time). And I wasn't even the top farmer. Farmer is not that bad. Food average this set is already $44 and it's only going to go up.

I guess if a few techers and farmers are in the top ten with a few reps and indies, it means everything is in balance. Except oiler of course. ;-)
