Is it just me or is the game now completely under the direction of the Sheeple? It seems to me that every alliance is pretty well pacted out and the idea of the random landgrab has become extincted.

It's disheartening that I can't touch anyone in my scores list because it's automatically a "Topfeed" since EVERY player there has a LOT more land than I do. Thus, it becomes a topfeed even if the player is ranked underneath me. This is just not right.

I think that a serious effort must be made to de-sheeple the game.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that the "top feed" concept is just a way for poor players to protect land without actually having to have any defense by military.

Sooner or later, I'm gonna find enough people who will be willing to just slug it out until such policies are as extinct as the random landgrab.

Get more land and do it by hitting people your size ;) I'm sure there are people with your land that you could hit and get some GA off of. Either that or hit a few bottomfeed targets

The only players my "Size" are way down the scores list, locket. So far down that the damned humanitarians would get in the way.

Now, if you're talking my size in "networth" there are herds of fatties in my scores list that I could grab land off of. I'm right in the middle of the whole herd of sheeple.

I do think land:land has a purpose, because the game is designed so that anyone can break/ruin anyones set if they truly wanted (landfat or not), but I agree that a blanket land:land is bad the game.

On the other hand, both parties can actually benifit from land:land (especially the smaller guy). There are more variables, but that comes from the risk.

Also, I agree with keivisuaL completle. SoF wants unorganised grabbing between neutrals and unaps and not the RD/PDM style landtrading.

I've done some landtrades with much fatter countries in the past and they just retalled land:land.
As long as you're friendly about it, don't make it hard to retal and grab someone with the same building types you should be able to find people to landtrade with you that don't really mind having to PS you a second or third time to get their land back. It still works out for both then.
