there are phones which are water resistant and wothstand water pressure upto ~100 meters and dirt, mud, etc isn't problem either but those cost more than normal phones and of course are bigger and heavier.

naw its a company phone so no frills there.
I did dry it out using low on a electric skillet :)
But the enter button did not survive the ride in the washer.
They gave me another and a case for it..go figure .

when will they make a phone impervious to water and coffee and soda? i mean... come on people. id buy that even if it wasnt as good a phone. But make it just as good as an iphone or samsung galaxy... waterproof. Charge an extra 100 bucks even.

there are many, nokia lumias are quite liquid proof (at least 8x0 and 9x0) and samsung has xcovers and sony has experias etc.

Get some 99% isopropyl alcohol and soak it for a few minutes. It'll displace the water and dries quickly.
