Well, you know, our Ivory Tower Academic Elite can't handle someone who is good looking AND intelligent. It distresses them because they come out looking like the losers they are.

whats done outside of work is outside of work, it is not illegal, it is not taking the (past) work into school either

in middle school i had a science teacher that was a Carolina Panthers Cheerleader, and had pics worse than that on the interwebs. i dont see the difference.

if ppls would get fired due wasting company time and resources then huge amount of ppls would get fired due they update facebook or/and do online shopping etc while at work.

very easily could of been a student who found them and eventually the school caught wind of it....same thing happened in my highschool around 6 or 7 years ago, our Brit. Lit. teacher was an ex-body builder and pictures of her in a bikini were found by students

Overall, I think that forcing her to resign was an overreaction. Unless there were other issues with her teaching/employment, she should certainly have been allowed to remain for the remainder of the school year. She did not invite the connection between the photos and herself (by posing under a pseudonym), nor had she posed nude. In this case, I think the students are best served by seeing in action an employer minding their own business.
