I don't think it was a netting move. Mathematically speaking, that is.

Few topfeeds make mathematical sense, especially at this acreage. And if he didn't go construction bonus, those 2k acres post retal will cost him $1B.

Also, I always complain about topfeeds so people are tired of hearing it, but here you have a really good commie set, and someone playing a really good commie... shame to see someone playing a worse country mess it up, because ultimately what will it mean, best case scenario for the topfeeder? He can finish 13th instead of 14th? If he gets networth-match retaled he'll probably lose 4000 acres and roughly $600-700m in building costs... is it worth it at all, or is it just done to hurt another player?

there are players on every server who like to fluff up others sets.

player's stats like missiles fired etc just increase that.

We are working on the assumption that people have calculated whether it's worth it or not to topfeed. Many a times, people don't. They just do it out of gut feel. Maybe this top feed was intentional, maybe it isn't. We won't know until he or she comes here to talk about it.

There is a lot of satisfaction in a really big grab. Netters who think they should be left to net in peace overlook the fact that others get satisfaction from other aspects of the game.

Managing to minimise the risk of a topfeed is one of the most difficult arts in the game. If your artistry fails, the person to moan about is yourself.
