Ya know beside all those backwards stuff like calling football a game played with hands, miles and not km, lbs and not kgs and all the metric system you and only some african nations, DO NOT USE.

Mlb official site :

Orioles Rays TB 3, BAL 2 Boxberger (5-1) Brach (5-1)
Giants Tigers SF 5, DET 4 Bumgarner (17-9) Price (13-11)
Pirates Cubs PIT 5, CHC 3 Melancon (3-4) Wright (0-3)
Astros Athletics OAK 4, HOU 3 Gregerson (4-3) Qualls (1-5)
Royals Yankees NYY 6, KC 2 McCarthy (9-14) Hendriks (1-1)
Phillies Nationals WSH 1, PHI 3 Burnett (8-15) Roark (12-10)
Pirates Cubs PIT 5, CHC 0 Liriano (4-10) Doubront (3-5)
Mets Reds NYM 1, CIN 2 Cueto (17-8) Gee (6-7)
White Sox Indians CWS 1, CLE 3 Kluber (14-9) Putnam (4-3)
Angels Twins MIN 5, LAA 8 Smith (7-2) Burton (2-5)
Braves Marlins MIA 3, ATL 4 Carpenter (6-3) Morris (7-1)
Cardinals Brewers STL 5, MIL 3 Lynn (15-8) Lohse (12-9)
Blue Jays Red Sox TOR 3, BOS 4 Buchholz (7-8) Happ (9-9)
Mariners Rangers TEX 2, SEA 4 Farquhar (2-1) Cotts (2-9)
Padres Rockies SD 6, COL 7 Masset (2-0) Hahn (7-4)
D-backs Dodgers LAD 5, ARI 2 Wilson (2-3) Hudson (0-1)

First of all, all around the world the team playing home is always first in row, in any sport, everywhere. Not here - here the team playing away is first. Ok i can handle that - get used to it, get past it - ALL RIGHT.

BUT

WHY THE ACTUAL fluff on the results page you reverse them to what they actually supposed to be ? Woke up in the morning to get happy that i actually won a bet yesterday to find out seconds latter that i actually lost. Hahahaha

P.S: this post is sarcastic, made with no ill intentions, and should be taken as it is.

P.S.2: Please stop doing everything backwards

1) The name hand ball was taken, and who knows why it ended up being football... Oval ball? Carry, Kick, Run ball?
2) I think most want to switch to the metric system but at a certain point it would require too much work. So much software would need to be rewritten or changed, so many measuring devices would become obsolete. It never will happen.
3) AwayTeam at HomeTeam
4) In a flat and/or multiple team list, it makes sense to have home team listed first.

i still can not understand why the final scores are mixed up.

First you have Baltimore away. So Baltimore vs TB Rays - ok got it. Than the final result has TB listed first - wtf!?!?!

Than you have Giants away. So Giants vs Tigers - ok got it. Than on the score line you have ( this time ) SF - Tigers 5-4 - what the actual fluff ?

And all of them are just mixed up following no logical scheme - or at least not one i can figure on.

One thing for sure - not going to check the scores on mlb.com ever again.

we did it in the 1970s in the UK - the US was meant to have done the same but bottled out
we still use pounds, feet, inches alongside metric

software ... already runs in metric 1.01 etc ? saves on everything being adapted to imperial and also costly, embarrassing mistakes.

Mars orbiter

The use of two different unit systems was the cause of the loss of the Mars Climate Orbiter in 1998. NASA specified metric units in the contract. NASA and other organizations applied metric units in their work, but one subcontractor, Lockheed Martin, provided thruster performance data to the team in pound force seconds instead of newton seconds. The spacecraft was intended to orbit Mars at about 150 kilometers (93 mi) altitude, but incorrect data probably caused it to descend instead to about 57 kilometers (35 mi), burning up in the Martian atmosphere.

ouch

about the african countries,a little inaccuracy Alin ... Liberia and Burma (which is in Asia incidentally) moved over a while ago ... according to the CIA at least .... c'mon USA, make the change !

On the score page they list the winning score first like in tennis.

the connotation for the order is team A playing at team B, instead of team b hosting team a.

on the scoreboards the home team is always on the left, or on the bottom. it is like that in every sport here. why? who knows but i like it.

as for the MLB site, i dont use it so im not sure what you are talking about with the results switched, but on bleacher report and espn, the 2 sites i use for all my sports world news, i dont think the order changes. maybe switch your site up!

on second thought, i just looked at your list, and the espn results page, and dont see the order switched? maybe im missing something.

we might be boycotting the metric system because it was invented in France. though, we do get to sell twice as much junk simply because we use both systems.

...
decimal points are not the determining factor of metric vs imperial. you can have 1.01 inches
