is the autumnal equinox different than the beginning of autumn? my america calendar says autumn starts 9/23.. or was there a issue when the calender man had to convert the start of autumn from the rest of the world's dates to a date system that actually matters... the US's calender

hmm, i've been meaning to research those near death experiences that involve people being drawn into the light. kinda figure that if people die at the right time of year, their soul might get stuck falling into the sun instead of dissipating back into the darkness. anybody happen to know what's the best time of year to die if i don't want my soul nuked forever?

I knew some smart asses will join this thread to tell me the exact date of the autumn equinox. This thread is not about the general equinox but about the equinox of AT which seems to kick in sooner.
