This game's mechanics are fantastic for suiciding, and many times the changes are even done in a way to make suiciding even more powerful.

Unfortunately, the only way to get the game mechanics fixed it to suicide on Evo. If LaF, PDM, or other alliances get wrecked by suiciders (or especially someone on FFA), nothing will change, even when the need for change is reported, and the exact nature of the harmful game mechanics are clearly stated. Even when Xinhuan gives a clear and logical explanation of a game mechanic that needs to be changed, nothing will happen until we exploit this game mechanic against the people that have the power to bring about a change.

evo got suicided although much less than pdm got.

Go back under your rock, man. Qz's country was the one targeted by this guy and you don't see a kneejerk response to it, do you? Unfortunately for everyone who shares your views, the admins position on suiciders has been fairly consistent for a long time, and isn't going to change because they happened to suicide the alliance that qz(kind of) plays in.

I mean seriously, he rarely plays 100% of his turns, he often starts the set late, he doesn't even know when we are warring, and he doesn't login to the Evo site for days at a time. Do you REALLY think that suiciding Evo will accomplish anything aside from pissing off more members?

Indeed, but as I said above grief != trolling in terms of EE compared to CoC.

And tellarion, with rock mans accusation that changes only happen when Evo gets hit aside, his post was spot on.

BTW just for the record I don't feel the same way about Qz/Evo as rockman. Every time I've ever talked to him he's never given me any reason to doubt him.

Oh yes, I agree with him. I don't like allowing suiciders to do whatever the hell they want, and I want to limit them as well. And yes, even if you suggest a change that you think is perfectly balanced and acceptable, it DOES take a long ass time for the changes to be implemented. That's what happens when you have one dev doing the whole thing alone in his spare time. Also, that's what happens when said dev holds a different viewpoint from you(ie on the suiciding issue).

But yeah, suiciding qz's country or Evo in general does nothing more than perpetuate the grief and cause players to quit, just like any other alliance.

As for declining players, I think i should adjust the captchas to be less frequent. (and if another EE player would go and shoot another congresswoman, that'd help too. J/K lol... (sorry, that was bad; there were a notable spike in registrations though))

it would be handy if the bonus turn captchas had more tolerence

something like you only get bonus points from them every second day so that we had effectively a 24 hour window to do it wihout losing anything rather than a 0 second window

after all the other changes youve made, dr, login bonuses

its the only thing left in the game shifting login patterns backwards (maybe 20 acres bonuses but thats negligible and different)

i am in favour though of allowing people to by pass the bonus points by paying since then you could just use that money to advertise wherever you wanted rather on those weird list sites

they are called top list s i guess

although i get the impression some people actually do come from them
