Sorry about the inconvenience folks!

I got a new router for the server, but apparently in order to get the IP address passed through to the server, I needed a second IP address; which took 2 calls to my ISP to get figured out.

Anyway, we're back up! Sorry about the downtime!

Finally did the signature thing.

It wouldn't have been a problem if it didn't occur right at the 48 hour mark.

I slow play my turns, so I logged in at 47 hrs and played 30 turns then tried again an hour later and couldn't get on for the rest of the night. 120+ turns bye bye.

A few hours earlier or later would have been no problem, but slow rollers like me got screwed lol.

:) Thanks for the support; it was supposed to be like 30 mins of downtime, but I just couldn't get it resolved on the first call; the one in the morning was much better =/

Sounds like one of my projects when I ask my wife to help. "it will only take about twenty minutes, honey."

still some quirks aka pages don't always load quickly for example it took awhile before login page got loaded.

Don't want to heap too much on your plate but during the outage most of my ca$h vanished. Think there was like $2 billion in there. Would be greatly appreciated if you could fix that.

God Tier player feeling butthurt because someone else is smarter? The downtime created some good opportunities for sleep, and reducing bot DR, thanks QZ

qz, one always knows that when a story's opening line has "I accidently" in it, as your hard drive replacement blog does, it is going to be a good one!!

And, when a blog is created during or right after the problem, it was one hell of a problem!!

Update: The shaw guy was here, replacing all the cable connectors

Hopefully that fixes some of the intermittency we were seeing
