As per this thread, 'the ropes' you need to learn are as follows: talk mad shyt in the forums, be at least mildly clever about it, have thick enough skin to enjoy and reciprocate, doesn't matter if you can play the game.

That's about it =)

Hey gonzo... no one is warring right now, but i'm sure that will change soon.

Also, for any new players... if you're serious about learning this game, there are several clans who will offer ways to play and play WELL. I would recommend (obviously) NA, Evolution, Omega and Laf for netting. For warring, SoF and Sol.

Elders is my favorite warring clan right now, but not SO much for new players unless you're very quick. The learning curve is very steep there. You're either going to learn fast and be amazing really quick or die a lot since it's not easy to kill the core players and some clans will just kill easy targets to avoid losing turns on a person who won't die.
