h4's posts clearly state the chain of events... why are you trying to change them? :p

we didn't want to fight -- LaF was netting and saw the need to go to war or potentially be hit again.

That being said, you SoL'ers should shut up on AT... you guys don't really do yourselves any favours with your attempted SPIN :p

It's not uncommon for solers to be better turn prepped for wars due to most strategies used involving block explores, along side a mandatory turn save due to some hits going a bit sour, not to mention FSing a clan who's FS time is usually at that time due to most players around at that time.

I know SoL was at least 2 days behind planned schedule and I'm proud of the effort our members have put in at such short notice.

Oh and pang, I'm loving the paranoia, we really hadn't planned for that at all but quite enjoying it.

ok, so you're upset/find it funny laf was paranoid about being hit (after SoL was visiting all of our friends and saying "pact us -- laf spit in our face and didn't want to pact! leave them hanging!") but last set when we were thought "sol are our friends; they won't hit us" we were stupid and naive not to be paranoid? I mean... that's what SoL told us.

the funny thing about SPIN is that it changes so much from set to set, when it comes from SoL :p

seriously, for a war alliance who was given the war you want, you guys sure do mouth off and complain a lot :p

if you guys want to fluff about war performance, net against LaF sometime and see how you do. My guess is that the disparity between LaF netting and SoL netting will be much more immense than on any war-related stat :p

I've always felt that those who can't net, fight... so we'll have to agree to disagree there, maki ;)

I think regardless of all the rhetoric that both sides are spewing here about why the war started, no one is really upset that the war started :p

Everyone seems content with the war on both sides, and that may be one of the few times we've seen that so far in EE on this server. So let's all try to take that positive away from this so far, before it degenerates into complete trollery :p

Im not whining, we didt plan on warring LaF but hey, free war ! i prefer not getting FSed if we can help it as i hate to se SOLers die, but i had forgot to charge my voip account and couldt get out the mass message fast enough (had to find my visa to charge it :P) would prob have saved 2-3 people in the FS, maybe, it was some really fast KRs, but i blame myself for atleast 2 of the deaths, but all in all, looks liked a evenly matched war, you guys have some really good looking countrys, those fat techers for example, all in all, im enjoying it

this isn't 1997 when we were still trying to figure this game out, its a pretty stale game and all war/net strategies are already known.

the game really is a battle of who still wants to play this ancient dying game ;)

takes a couple of sets to learn the game but much longer to master it. Any who say they are a master at this game is fooling themselves. Great players are around but there are few who can play this game too 100% of its potential. That is why it gets broke down to netters and warmongers.

There is always something you can learn if it is only tactics or a new way to up those last few dollars NW.

You guys "where going to FS someone else". Okay, you guys wanted a war. It is more challenging getting FS'ed and warring than blindsiding another netting alliance is it not?

KriSatZ we were truly moving away from that line.

if you look at locket and my posts you see we were saying that the game still has stuff to master and learn.

Personally i like that LaF decided to hit us. Saved the trouble of of waiting on war for me. ;)

As is i think now that the dust has settled this war is gonna be fun as fluff and i would hope that everyone including SoL and LaF members will drop the finger pointing trash talk and have fun.

anyone else stirring the pot needs to find their own gumbo to ruin we got this one covered.

i fully understand the learning curve for this game is logarithmic..

not claiming anyone will reach 100%, but you can get to 90% potential in a short time, and spend exponentially longer time to get that last 10%.
