I would have gotten well over 1.5B either of those sets. Two players who are not as good as I am have higher NW than I will ever achieve because I played for LaF instead of for myself those two sets.

I still got #1 in Top 3 finishes average in both tournament and 1a, and I'm 2nd in express to a very worthy 1st place(Ebert). If I had warred last set En4 could have possibly taken the first rank in that as well(t3 avg 1a) and Im not gonna let that happen lol.

Don't forget Chevs chopped me down that set too ... but yeah I'd still yield and wholly admit you would have finished considerably higher.

I also doubt I would have been able to pull enough nw last set if you warred to get the t3 avg in 1a. There were still too many others last set and the oil market was so bad I would have been low 1bilish I would think.

I just want to know who this "enforcer" is in the original post. Never seen anyone by that nick in this game!

Ahh yes, you would have probably been more like 1.3B without Chevs grab.

I think if I warred Hash would have warred too and just the two of us not going netting FFOs would have made for noticeably better lategame grabs and certainly $200+ oil prices.

If either of us three were alone it would(well if hash did pro destock for once) have been an easy 1B+ for either of us.

I did half ass it the reset I won, almost got accidentally taken out by Hardy early in the set, only ran 3500 turns total, was letting someone leach, and only grabbed to 75k and got none of the free bot land after the war started. I spent far less time playing and basically no mental energy that set compared to the set when Requiem suicided my $1b+ FFO. If I had finished that set I probably would not have topped $1.2b, but it was a far more skillful and nuanced set.

There are a lot of good players here, but it’s hard to distinguish finely between the best because the game is really a combination of skill, dedication of time, and gradients of luck.

Given how each set is different and that the bots and grabbing rules have changed over time, I think wins or t3s are probably a better metric than highest net for comparison of those who play consistently.

Also letting Chevs into your alliance after his grab on en4cer was stupid - I should know!
