g=) it's not just primary. they make the same dumb mistake on all of the non alliance servers. late game LGing is dangerous. most of the good targets have stock, anyone can retal

having good allies in express is important. i try to intel/dpact countries i see that might grab me. if you can get a bunch of your friends to come in and help you... there are no rules against such.

imo laf should kill sol for being daggatards. they don't accept 72 hr anyways, but 42. they should show sol now why they have to accept this.

here's the prob with techer. i drop 10k bus res agri on at $4k. then someone drops 20k at $3450. so i pll mine off tech my turns, and drop in 25k at 3400. only to have 60k drop for $3100 after i've sold 1/4 of mine. in plainer terms, there is too much supply, not enough demand. to play my turns i need my tech to sell so i can stick on another batch. but to get it sold, you have to waste turns pulling it off, and selling cheap. so our techers aren't getting anywhere near 20m nw

i BR'd him into the ground. been gone for last 2 days on a trip though or i'd have finished the job. i had some good messages from him too. he was really arogant and wanted to force his will on everyone... problem was he couldnt back it up.

well rounded sounds very nice dh, but you can't get everything and still make t10 on this server, limited turns and all. no reason you can't have adequite spy defense through a few indies and 2 intel allies though.

slaggy poo i agree with what you CAN do with an indy, techer maybe even a farmer. but you can't do it every round like you can with the casher.

dude you're a whuse. you pick LG targets that retal you, and throw a fit when you get retalled after double tapping! then you go special attacks after retals. you are silly.

my advise to you, don't play a strategy that requires LGing. maybe you should go all-X land dropper next set g;)

i'd love to get another 100-200 real players in here. it's not realistic though.

many of the cashers are theo cashing and buying most of thier military off PM.

currently there are few viable strategies in express due to lack of players.

casher is the most dominant/easiest strategy to play, and really the only consistent strategy. with time/effort and a LOT of luck, you can succeed as a indy or techer, and with more of all 3 of those, a farmer. due to the lack of any consistancy in the market from lack of players these other strategies really aren't worth playing if you wish to be #1.

i ask if anyone has an realistic solutions that the game mods could/would try.

the only thing that comes to mind for me is one ppl have previously stated, and thats mod run bots that use the AH and increase LGing targets so that everyone isn't in DR

what kills me about mac is that it was never a secret he was on andro. he was on it when it was being tested and wasn't yet considered a steroid. he was their marketing tool! the face of their product. i remember reading an article about him and it i think before i was even in highschool. so for them to be like, NOW he comes out... he came out years ago!

imo 72 hrs just is too many now. thats 234 turns. thats just rediculous. 48 is a great balance between turns and RL time. if there is some kind of circumstance where the agressor is way into dr for whatever reason, i'm positive laf's FR's would talk and work something out. i mean, i know pang eats children, but come on g=) this is earth!

also, i'd like to see less time in-between resets. it's a short set, followed by a long wait to play again g=) and i want to play!

why do ppl keep saying express favors netters. this simply isn't true. with the amount of turns you can stock up, you can destroy anyone or maim multiple countries at once.

there needs to be some changes to PROMOTE ballance, not totaly tip it in favor of netters. this was the first set in the last 4 i didn't get randomly attacked at the end of the game. i've had ppl use hundreds of turns on spy opps when i was spy heavy, i've been leming'd down, i've been missiled, and i've been turned into a parking lot. and often one person will do this to most of the t10. one country shouldn't have the means to take out the whole t10.

slag only 229k sdi was sold because you can't max sdi and your bus/res or whatever strat you're playing at the same time. it's simply too costly on this server. if i'd have maxed out my sdi last set i wouldn't have made t10.

i do play express seriously, it's my favorite of all the servers. and if ppl want to waste their time or the way they find the game enjoyable is to go out and fight fight fight, thats fine, but when one person can take out 5 or more without even trying, it's unbalanced in the favor of those who like to destroy

i'm for all of these guys getting into the HoF. bonds, mgwire etc. yes they took steroids. but it was not against the rules of baseball. we can't keep them out of the HoF just because they did something we don't like, or in barry's case because he's a jerk and a liar.

as for the A-Rod thing, quite frankly i don't think it fair to crucify him when there are still over 100 names on that list that get to remain in anonymity. many of whom will be YOUR favorite players. we know he did them for at least 3 years by his admission. so we've disregarded the other 14.

for you snawdog. how did he cheat? what rules did he break? he definatly let us down, he was supposed to be baseball's champion to take down bond's steroid record clean. but what he did was not against the rules of the game at the time. if anything he's a posterboy for mlb needing to get active in getting their young stars counseling to deal with the money/hype/freedom they suddenly find thrust upon them.

i think heyward wins at as things are right now. he's a good player but he's gonna win it on hype as long as he just keeps going lie he is. he's going to be a very productive player over the years imo, but the comparisons to griffey... i just don't see it.

that being said, if i were giving the award today, i'd be giving it to jaimie garcia. 40-50 games is enough for any one of these guys to get really hot and snag the award though
